Do what you want. It's totally up to you how you post, right? So, if you are tired of posting about anime weekly, maybe go for monthly or the ways you put there, with the summaries and so on.

That sounds like a plan to me. Plus, if you decide to try summing up your thoughts on the whole anime, you could even post it to the AAMR as a review. lol

I tried to do weekly anime reviews but watching several shows at once and having to write about it all got really frustrating and annoying. School needs to come first before anime. That's why I just write my thoughts on a show once I finish it. I know I procastinate sometimes so I do not need a weekly thing to distract me some more, you know?
If you feel like not doing it every week then that's fine with me. ^^
Six-year-olds and nuclear weapons: a combination that just can't be beat.
With some shows it's definitely easier to review as a whole or in larger chunks than just over a few episodes, especially of it's episodic in nature or nothing major happens at first. Like I said, I find just saying "In Episodes X - Y, this, this, and this happened" and nothing more than that to be quite dull. ^^

I think that tis best to have an 'end of series summary', especally as that way it is less of a pain to write each week. It depends on how much you like to write I suppose ^^

Whenever I make reviews, I usually do one for the first few episodes and then one when I finish.
There are times when I rate dubs, so I do episode by episode.
But you are your own editor, if you find that it is much better to review as a whole, I suggest you do so.
Once I get back to the slower times of the state-side life, I will probably get back to doing my reviews of new season shows.
I figure it's better to be upfront about it instead of saying I read them when I don't. xD If it makes you feel any better, if it's a show I do like then length or number of posts isn't an issue. I read it all.
For example, Shin's posts on Monster now that we're following it in English on SyFy. Both posts he's linked to are quite long and yet since I've seen the series entirely via fansubs, I read it since I'm curious what he thinks of how it's being handled.
Anyway, definitely don't let it discourage you from doing what you enjoy. I may not read all of your posts on that but I do follow when I'm familiar with the show.
But yeah, that's another reason. I'm quite aware that people aren't going to read or comment on the shows they aren't familiar with. It does feel like a let-down when I've written all that up and I get either very few comments or no comments. -3-;
At the same time though, I'd still like to talk about what I'm watching in one form or another, in case I might end up getting someone interested in something. ^^
Naturally you should do what makes it the most fun for you. I honestly don't read posts like that unless there is a show I like or have seen. And even with that I only read the bit on that one show. So either way, won't bother me if you don't write them. :p

Do whatever you enjoy most. I write every week not just because I might have something interesting to say every so often, but also because writing my thoughts, and thinking about what I want to write, helps me enjoy each show more. It makes me focus that much more on what appeals to me about certain series.
But, yeah, whatever feels best to you is what you should go with. I'll read it regardless!

Thanks for the encouragement. ^^ Yeah, I'll give it a try for a while and see if it works better.
Another reason I feel like making the switch is because my anime intake has slowed down since summer. At the beginning of the year I was watching a lot more shows at any one time and spent a lot more time every day and week watching stuff. Now I don't feel like I have that energy anymore, I kinda burned myself out and I've been taking it much easier, watching fewer shows at one time and not spending as much time watching things each week.

Your new ideas sound much more fun for you (and fun for us to read as well!) than how it was before with it becoming a hassle. You can try out your new way for a while and see if it's less stressful. If not, maybe more revisions? I think it sounds really cool the way it is~.
