Really? I like his work as well. I've been a fan of Michio Kaku for some time now. He has a way of explaining the most abstruse scientific theories in a way that anyone can understand, while still remaining faithful to the hard science. I love listening to him whenever he's talking about theoretical physics.
Sounds like the Dr Who book is a good read. I always enjoy stuff like that, like the Science of Star Wars special on History or NatGeo, whichever happens to be airing it at the time.
I've been meaning to get that book, ever since I saw the TARDIS on the cover. XD Must have been the choice of the publishing company though, since DW itself doesn't seem to get mentioned in the book, at least when I looked in the index. -3-
Michio Kaku is one of my favorite physicists. I have two of his previous books, Hyperspace and Parallel Worlds. :)
The Science of Doctor Who sounds very interesting. I like to read about how plausible the science is in some mediums of entertainment. It reminds me of Physics of the Impossible by Michio Kaku, another book that you might be interested in.
Heh. I'd originally intended to get A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin, but the only copy was mangled. And I don't like buying messed up books. >>;
So, unable to leave a bookstore empty-handed, I browsed through the fantasy stuff and this series caught my eye. :D
