Glad to know your okaasan (japnanese this time! Oooo!) is on the rode to recovery! Urg, tis annoying when laptops fail to work. Good luck with that! ^_^
And the Nazis? That's quite interesting...It's cool to learn something new!
So...just FYI, I'm going to be taking a break from the otaku.com I think, because I have tons of projects I need to work on this summer. I just didn't want you to think I was avoiding you...

The Nazis? o_O Well I guess it doesn't really matter when you think about it. There were plenty of good people in that area too. It's just too easy to look at that and think everything they did was only negative. >_> Okay so a lot was but that's besides the point!
I hope your mom is 100% soon. I know how that is, my dad went through it too. Also hope your laptop will be working normally soon or that you get a better one. Whichever you can do. I's been raining every day here too. I don't like thunderstorms but if it's just rain I don't mind so much... to a point. I'd like to see just sun again after a while, but at least it's cooler! Oh yeah Who books too huh? I was watching Doctor Who on Sci-Fi before I came online today as well. I think it's the season finale for 2006. I think since it was a two parter and it had the Daleks. Nazi relays? Dude, that's something the torch thing was introduced by them? Well, then I'll see ya.
Wait, there's Dr. Who books? My interest in that series has instantly been doubled. (I always get way too into the multimedia series. XP)
There's tons of Doctor Who Books. ^^ It was either the 2004 or 2005 Guiness Book of World Records that declared them to be the longest running book series centered around a single character. Or was it just the most books centered around a single character? Something like that. ^^
There are several different book series:
- Novelizations: Classic TV stories novelized by Target Books. Some are already out of print, but others are still available.
- New Adventures: Books published in the early 90s carrying on where the TV series left off, featuring the Seventh Doctor and various companions, published by Virgin. After the BBC got the books rights back, Virgin continued the New Adventures for awhile around Bernice Summerfield, one of the original companions created for that series.
- Missing Adventures: Another series from Virgin; these were original novels featuring the first six Doctors and various companions, meant to slide in between TV stories.
- Eighth Doctor Adventures: After the BBC got the books rights back from Virgin, they published this series starting after the 1996 TV movie. The books lasted from '96 until '04/'05, ending after the new TV series started.
- Past Doctor Adventures: BBC Books' version of the Missing Adventures, but including the Seventh Doctor.
- Decalogs: A trio of short story collections, ten stories each, all centered around a theme.
- Short Trips: Another series of short story collections, first published by BBC, currently by Big Finish.
- New Series Novels: Books featuring the Doctors and companions of the new TV series.
Besides books, there are also Doctor Who comics and graphic novels, as well as full-cast audio dramas. Doctor Who expanded into many different media between the end of the old series and the start of the new.
I wish your mom a speedy recovery. About internet connections, during the second half of last semester my internet was cutting out, it would connect but not fully. I did a virus scan and found out that it was the google toolbar, it got deleted and I refuse to download it to this day.
West Texas has gotten crazy amounts of rain but we have gotten maybe an inch, while towns 15-60 miles of us have gotten up to 4-6 inches. My town is cursed
O_O Wow, the torch relay was actually started by the nazis, I would never have thought that.

You were supposed to go to bed! Can't you even do that without me paying attention to you? *pokes* You better sleep properly this weekend... Which you probably will coz I'm your main distraction. >.> *whistles innocently* X3
Be a good boy, go to bed at a decent hour and your mother will heal even faster. *nods* XP
... SENPAI!!! T.T I don't want to go~! *clings to you but is dragged away* Have a nice weekend. T.T
I'm not quite ready to steal this post format just yet.
I'm tired right now, so I'll just say that your mom should be content to know that people all over the continent are wishing her well. You should tell her about that, I bet it'd crack a smile.
The 1936 Berlin Olympics were pretty eventful, I guess. But hey, what's done is done. Best not to dwell on it too much - the torch relay has since transformed heavily since then. What was a Nazi invention is now a direct course for protest demonstrations against China, after all.
I hope you get your DVDs this time. ^^ You need to watch Season 3, gashplurnit!! XD
The Olympic Fire had been a tradition since 1928, but the Nazis actually CREATED the torch relay, they didn't change it. It didn't exist before them. o_O
Everywhere I turn people are stealing posting styles! For shame! :p
Your poor mom, tell her to keep getting better.
Hmmm, that’s too bad about your laptop. I hate when something happens and I can’t fix it.
Heh, speaking of Doctor who, now that the mixup over my order was cleared up… it’s reordered so it should get shipped to me soon. I really want to see season three!
For a while there we were getting rain several days a week, which is a lot for us. I’m glad it stopped.
*skips a few*
Nazi’s? o_O Well that was unexpected. I’m not surprised they tried to change it to mean something else. I know I would have. >_>

Hmmm... Nazis, no surprise there. It's all to easy to remember only the negative things they did instead of some of the positive as well.

Everyone seems to have computer hiccups these days. The internet is too addicting though, so we can't live without it. :/

Woooow, Nazi tradition, eh? Didn't know that. lol
That's one of those interesting factoids; some of 'em are blah, but man, I gotta tell my mom that.

Ack. Laptop troubles. I can attest, man. I hate it when my laptop goes all crazy on me and won't connect to the internet.
It's been raining here every night as well. The rain is good, though.
Nazis? Are you serious?! Geez. Well if that isn't creepy...
