Heh, your mom sounds like me. (My mom is an ant-hating neat freak, though, so we kind of balance each other out.)

My mom has the tendency to not put the lids on things like milk, wet cat and dog food, and other foods, and puts them back in the container.

She also always leaves her shoes lying around, most often in a place where people can trip all over them. DX

That sucks about the ordering thing. We ordered pizzas a while ago from Domino's and if you've heard of the Five for Five deal, they had a new deal called Four for Four. So my dad decided to order it, and when it came, the pizzas were TINY. Like, half the normal size. Kind of rip off deal because we had lots of hungry people to feed. So now we don't order that deal ever. *laughs*

Things like that happen at drive-thrus much to often. PX

Hope your cat problem is solved soon. Our cat's doing pretty well besides the whole 'I-shed-everywhere-even-if-you-don't-want-me-to' thing.

Oh, I know how you feel with getting wrong delivery orders. We used to always get marinara sauce [instead of the white sugary dipping sauce] for those little cinnamin stick things from Dominos.

I noticed the mayo was out yesterday, and the cat food today. The cans happen all the time. I've never seen her leave things out like this before, it's just this week since dad has been away at camp.

My parents irritate me, because they don't seem to be as aware of what exactly can attract a horde of ants like I do. I'm always clearing away dishes, left over cans, etc. When I was still living at university, dad would use my computer while I was away and eat popsicles in here and leave the sticks behind. I had ant problems on my desk for a couple of years, and it pissed me off so much.

Did this all happen on Tuesday-ish (granted the mother thing is a longer-term thing by nature, but y'know)?

I did not quite realize or remember that there are types of cat food out there that need refrigeration. That was a nice brain fart moment right there.

How much were those cheese sticks? Well either way, that sucks. It's happened to us before, where we ordered something through a fast food drivethrough window, only to find later that one of our medium french fries was left out.
That's always a fun discovery, idn't it? :P

Oh dang, poor kitty. I hope you guys can get the eye drops ASAP.
