Look forward to seing the episode once it airs on CBC (Canada). So far, I reached the end of season 3 of "Doctor Who" (2005-currently). It's been a long while since I've seen Davros in the "Doctor Who" saga. I last saw the character in a fourth doctor storyarc a few years ago.
I think people are assuming the guy seen in costume with Tennant from pics taken during the Christmas filming is going to be the new Doctor: I think it's just going to be a period episode.
Until I actually see the finale, I determine to remain stubborn and refuse to accept Tennant leaving yet. =P
(some possible good news) Where I read about it being Neil Morrisey have typed the rumour wrong...I read elsewhere it was David Morrissey...two very different people...rather similar surname.
Tis pretty old, but I saw an advert for Graham Nortons chat show with James Nesbitt and Catherine Tate so it did make me wonder.
I didn't know that about the fake regeneration. Perhaps that is their way of always having Tennant there for the odd episode should they ever desire it.
Speaking of the Master, the story has to come back to him at some point thanks to that little clip at the end of last series. Obviously that Master won't be involved (well, can't say that for sure, the Daleks won't ever die).
Oh, and the James Nesbitt rumor is pretty old. I heard about that one last year. I'm not sure I'd want him as the Doctor anyway, not that he wasn't brilliant in Jekyll.
Heh, my dream casting for the Doctor: Peter Woodward.
Ive heard of both Bob the Builder and Men Behaving Badly, but never seen them.
I'm hoping that David is a bit further off from leaving than after the specials. He should stick around and do at least one season with Moffat at the helm.
I guess if there is a split during the regeneration, there'll just be two 10th Doctors: Rose can keep one and we get the other. =P
If that happens, it'll be the first time they ever did a fake-out regeneration in the TV series. They did it in the comic strips once, when the 8th Doctor changed into a Doctor based on the one Nick Briggs played in the old unofficial Audio Visuals plays. But the regeneration was faked too: it was a plot by the Doctor to get his enemies off guard, and the Briggs Doctor was actually smeone else wearing a personal chamelion circuit.
Heh, you may have read it already, I don't know.
I'm just hoping the TARDIS isn't screwed up beyond repair. They can't get rid of it. D: I was pissed enough last season when the Master gutted it for his Paradox Machine.
Well no mostly he's known for the comedy "Men Behaving Badly", which was funny (for a while) but otherwise he's not been on television for a while (apart from voicing Bob the Builder). Having never really seen him as anything but a silly character I'm not sure how it would work. The other one rumoured (but he denied it) is James Nesbitt, who would be more on the darker side character wise. Course there was also Jennifer Saunders....
Still, Catherine Tate proved me wrong, I still see her comedy characters crop up in her acting but otherwise she's been good.
I hear this to be the truth, so really don't read if you don't wish to spoil things
It's all in hand...geddit, you're right, severed hand it is. It basically means there will be two Docs, one in Rose's universe and t'other in ours. Therefore Tennant could still be the Doc even if he regenerates, as one won't change, one will. I also here Neil Morrisey will be the next Doctor...I hope not
I have a theory that Rose or Jack will use his severed hand to reverse the regeneration. =P Crazy, I know, but it could happen.
Besides, the whole set-up with River Song just wouldn't work properly if she didn't meet him while he's still the way he is right now. I mean, she might have not known what previous Doctors looked like and assumed he was a later regeneration, but that doesn't make as much sense.
Well DT has been filmed er filming new episodes, so as many irrate people will tell you
"OMFGZ he is not changing cuz he said he was going to be in it till 2010 AAAAND he's been filming Xmas eps so yea he isn't changing grrrr"
And of course they're right....right? Only thinking I have behind it is the official shoot with Mickey and Roses mum, so he has to meet them yet. Maybe Rose will transfer him to her world mid regeneration and timey wimey things will stop it happening somehow I don't know oh how my brain hurts.
There are some really typical phrases and words in this trailer: destruction, victory, the ending is approaching :P I think I have seen this show before - only a part of it ^^
OMFG. The guy in the trailer looks like a demented/psycho version of Dr.Evil or whatever the bald guy's name was from Austin Powers. Yay for trailers. Never watched the show before but it seems kinda interesting.

That would be so confusing. @_@ Although the Doctor/Rose shippers will have a field day.
And if its true, Tennant's Doctor needs to stay in our universe! 8D
I also here Neil Morrisey will be the next Doctor...I hope not.
Never heard of him. Is he that bad? -_-;;
