Well, unlike some of the others, I won't apologize for my comment because I meant every word of it and I'm not, in my opinion, "bad mouthing" anyone. And I now have a couple of different perspectives on the matter. I do say I have to agree with Miss Anonymous.

As to you being a jerk and a coward, however, I don't agree with. I see you as neither. So you might not have handled something personal to you as well as you should, but it happens. Everyone makes wonky decisions in their life, it's part of being human.

Everyone makes mistakes. That is what makes us stronger. ^_^ Like I said before, I wish the best for both of you, and I hope that this gets resolved quickly.

After reading this update, and a few of the recent comments, I would like to know what on earth spawned this whole deal.

I've known about your relationship for quite some time—possibly before you knew I did, I'm not sure about the exact date Raina first told me about it—and I have never had a problem with it. Although I know there was some unrest over communication between you two at times, mostly on MST-chat days, I had thought that was at least partially resolved a good while ago, and I respected neither of you seemed to want to blare things in people's faces.

Unless I am completely unaware of a recent issue, I can find no reason to be ill at you at all. So before I decide to jump on this surprise bandwagon of criticism, perhaps I should know why you (and apparently everyone else) are so convinced you are the scum of the earth.

More than stating my personal feelings on the matter, I want to say that I hope you apologize straight up to the people you directly hurt in all this. Seriously.

I'm not disappointed, I'm glad you finally brought it up. The hardest part of making a mistake isn't recognizing that you did. No its going the next step and trying to do something about it. So I'm glad you're taking that route here. *hugs*

I think the comment-crucifixion of another person's character should stop now. It seems like there's a lot of "not knowing the whole story" and yet people continue to badmouth the third party involved. That's just as inexcusable as making someone feel unwelcome here.

Suffice it to say, I hope you and Raina are happy together. It's good to get these things out in the open.

I hope everything works out. No one has the right to make someone feel like they don't belong here. Raina has the right to be here just as much as anyone else.

I'm happy for the both of you, and don't let people's ignorance come between you two. They're not worth it. I don't know what's going on though, so I'll just leave it at that. lol Hopefully everything will get worked out.

While I don't know Raina that well, I'm sorry to hear that she feels that way. I'm also sorry you felt you had to apologize for how YOU run your relationship. Course, I don't know the whole story, so I can't really offer a full opinion. I'm sure I don't have to tell you this, but in the end don't let the Internet dictate your relationship. It gave us 4chan for Christ sakes. I hope things get resolved.

I know she was feeling down and dejected. I tried to cheer her up, but I don't think I was successful. Since she can't use msn anymore I've fallen behind in knowing what's going on in her life in detail anymore. And knowing the both of you, I feel bad now that I didn't make the connection that you were together. :/ As far as we stand, I'm not someone you would feel comfortable to talk about stuff like that too, and I've never pried Raina for names of anything she told me, I just tried to be supportive without being pushy.

It really does make me sad though that she feels she doesn't belong here anymore. I know she's felt like that for a while and it made me feel kinda special that she still put the effort in to read and comment on my stuff anyway.

I, obviously, don't know the whole situation, but I won't judge either. If the two of you work, than that's what really counts and I am happy for you both.

I don't know if she'll see this or not, but if she does, or if you could tell her that she'll always be special to me, I really do think of her as a friend, and she'll always be my padawan. Your Master still thinks of you Raina. <3 I don't take politely to people harassing anyone I care for, and if I ever see someone on this site doing it, to either of you, it won't be pretty.

It's always easy for misunderstandings to occur since it's also all to easy to assume or guess why someone is doing something instead of simply asking. Like in this case of you keeping it private. Some people just prefer to not openly talk about it where others do.

Anyway, I do agree that it's time to clear the air. It's always good to put things out there so people know what's really going on. So best wishes to both of you. And Raina is definitely welcome here. Always. <3
