Batman & Robin is a classic. Well, a terrible classic, that is. When watching it, you just sit there in disbelief that someone actually thought of making it like that!
I haven't seen Begins yet, but I'll probably get around to it. The only one I absolutely refuse to watch is Batman & Robin. I've seen enough to prefer plunging a hot poker into my brain.
I do hope my donations help them. Too many good used book stores have gone out of business around here in years past. There was someone who popped in and looked at some of what I brought in during my second delivery, so I know at least one person is interested.
Sometimes it takes me a while to get around to something. Sometimes a long while. :P
Hmmm, makes me wonder if this next movie is going to have Khan as the villain. Del Toro looks like he could be a decent Khan. I know a lot of fans have lobbied for Khan in the next film.

I can't believe you hadn't seen those Batman movies till now. Also, good for you for donating your sci-fi/fantasy stuff to them. I need to do that with some old maga of mine. If you're on a bit of a Batman craze between NextGen, I'd reccomend the Justice League animated series. As for Next Gen, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOORF. Worf rules.
Also a tidbit of star trek news for you, JJ Abrahms is trying to cast Benecio Del Toro as the bad guy in the next movie. Don't know which badguy, just THE badguy.
Oh, I didn't see Batman Begins until after watching The Dark Knight, haha. I was so impressed by the latter that I finally decided to buy the first one, too.
Wait, as far as I'm concerned, everything book related counts as a valid form of geeking. I'm sure the store and the people who come across your donated books will be happy for your donation.
In my case, I have no problem donating. I tend to be a spendthrift when it comes to books, and in the end I accumulated a lot that I no longer had the desire to read. At first my parents felt I should try to sell everything online, but I'm less concerned about making money back on everything than I am just getting things out of the way so I have some space again.

See, that's a good productive way of cleaning/reorganizing. I have a similar problem; I'm always short on bookshelf space, always. I've had to store more and more manga/books in boxes over the years, yet even after doing that I still don't have lots of free space. Yet I don't really wanna donate that stuff, either... oh well. :V
