Another thing I got into was the author Clive Cussler. My aunt and uncle said how much they'd been enjoying his stuff. He writes adventure/thriller stories in the Indiana Jones sort of mold. Good guys vs. Bad Guys, usually to secure some kind of ancient artifact or stop a madman from using a secret world-destroying super-weapon.
