We haven't had that happen, though now that I've said it... they'll come running right? ^^ I've used fly paper before, but that's always kind of gross in my opinion.

Anyway, with the cold weather coming, that should end soon. Hopefully. o_O

What I'd do is ambush them! Use food as bait, and when they land---BAM! They're all dead. No one will know what happened... :#

And you scatter the food-bait everywhere and have to clean that up. =P

It must have something to do with the wetness and mild temperatures we've had lately. Flies and mosquitoes love humidity. It's turned into a nationwide epidemic from the sound of it.

We've been infested as well. My mother snapped and went on an all out offensive yesterday. We're typically creature-loving people and I often catch flies in my hands then release them, but not now. Not once it's reached double digits. If I can look one direction and see several flies then turn and repeat that sight, it's gone waaaay too far.

Once upon a time, many years ago before my window had a protective screen... it was a warm September night, and so thought twould be perfectly alright to leave the window open. Much to my horror and dismay, my room was quickly filled with hundreds of gnats. It took near an hour or more to destroy said pests with the wonderful suction power of the vacuum.

Moral of the story: ALL BUGS MUST DIE.

We had the same problem at our house, except with hornets. And I killed them with a karate sword. Which was a heck of a lot of fun.

Electric fly swatter? I actually had to look up on that since I haven't heard of one before.

Huh. Reminds me of the mosquito problem we have at every Tuesday night band rehearsal. We've gotten good at striking them down with bass mallets.

We've had a fly problem in our house lately as well. We've been doing nothing different than usual, but they still come like crazy.

It's always tougher to get 'em when they fly. -_-' I wish thee luck.
