Dogs are smart. My dog has impressed me a number of times. They just act a little goofy which gives the wrong impression XD
It's very fun to watch. When ever it's cold out my dog digs around in his toy box and pulls out his sweater. Plus he gets me if I'm even five minutes late to feed him. Cats on the other hand...I've seen my cat run into windows enough times trying to get bugs or lizards on the outside that I wonder. But that could just be instinct.

but you did forgot something,
Your dongs don't only know "walk"
They also respond to it when it's spelled out "w-a-l-k"
