They've been around for over 30 years, which tells you something about their skills. They come out here most Septembers for our annual Japan Festival, and last year, we hit it off well enough to get Thomas to commit to a workshop. I'm about to head out for the day now.

Is the group he is in actually called "Denver Taiko"? The only CO Taiko group I'm familiar with is "Mirai Daiko" which hits NDK most every year. It's a female group that does the cons, but I don't know if it's a female-only group.
