I've tried not to find out too much about it before reading it, but I believe it's about an 11 year-old boy and his toddler sister that get sucked into a different dimension of sorts, one ruled by giant beasts of all kinds that most people would find terrifying. He is believed to be the one that will fulfill some form of prophecy in that world.

This story has my older brother completely enthralled. I should get to reading it soon. ^_^'

Well, my handwriting isn't the best either (sort of a mannish, but legible, scrawl), but I see the bad penmanship thing more consistent in the male side than female side of humans... >_> <_< Maybe it's the fact I have a bunch of brothers... but one of my male cousins has excellent handwriting... naaaa...

But, once I did manage to turn my English homework in signed as "Mearn". Yeah, I shouldn't get distracted when writing my name. ^_^'

I'd almost say it's a guy thing . . . except that when I forgot to put my name on my math homework back in high school, people kept thinking a girl had written it. Mine ain't flowery and loopy or what, but it is significantly more neat than most of my peers.

I still sign my name as "scribble", though. =P
