Wow. My dad has the same problem with the pinched nerve, it's most likely the cause of bone spurs. My dad got some in his neck and it pinched a nerve, which made his whole arm go numb.
You know the worst part? We're pretty sure a great factor of what pushed my mother's body to the brink was the two-week period directly before this all happened when she worked twice as much to cover my dad's share, seeing as he was, of course, out with the flu. Funny how family's tend to pass the pain around.
