That's how most kids are. But the world isn't as big as everyone thinks it is. It's not like once you leave the house, your family won't help you anymore. That's not how it works. They'll always be there for you.
Thanks, I really appreciate it. There's not many things in my life that I've fully done on my own, other than person projects that I set for myself, so it's a little scary for me to think of just suddenly being thrust into a world where survival relies on your own strength.
Being out on your own is quite a change. But it's better, in my opinion, to do it sooner or later. If you wait, you're just gonna get more comfortable in the atmosphere you're in and not want to leave even more. And the longer you put off college, the less likely it is that you'll go at all-if you chose that route.
Being on your own isn't as scary as you think. I've been on my own since I was 18. I love it.
If you need any advice about it or have questions about anything, let me know. I'm completely independent now- other than my car insurance. lol
I haven't quite decided if I will or not, but if my Mom has anything to say about it, I will. There's a community college very near my house, so I won't be staying in dorms. There's still quite a lot I have to figure out, and the sheer amount of it all is startling.
