indeed, i too feel theotaku is a second home, am always on it, though long periods of time pass before i post anything worthwhile. i remember the first time i came upon this site, looking for pita-ten quizzes, though found none, i discovered the variety of things. it was this site that led me to cosplay, it introduced me to some anime, i could share my art with people who would tell me how great of an artist i was even if the picture looked like a steamy pile of dog crap. eventualy i grew so attached to the site, that i would stay on it till sunrise (seriously). now i stay on for only a few hours before i depart from this online abode that of which i have been a member of for a couple of years. last words before i end this trial of nostalgia, I love theotaku.com.
Thanks, I'm really glad you guys liked my post. ^_^ I put a lot of effort into it. I'm going through high school starting in August, so in another five years I just might be able to say that myself. XD And I guess I'll get a few shots of the manga stands for you, Magnus.
This is a lovely article, well written and very expressive. I have to admit I really enjoyed the bit about the cupcakes, I was also nearly driven to insanity by that stunt ~ Smiles ~ This is a lovely place though and it is great to know that it is giving you alot as well. May it continue to do so!
As for the last bit, I would love to see anything about Japan you feel like taping or taking pictures of. I will probably never get there myself but an extremely curious as to what it's like. Oddly enough, I would really like to see the manga stands you mention by the resteraunts. It's the first time I have heard of those.
All the best for your trip and thank you for sharing your experiences.
Very well put. I'm glad that theotaku.com has been such a positive experience for you Hayato. It's fan words like these that really mean a lot to older members. *2003* I enjoy theotaku.com as well, because I basically went through a good chunk of high school here. I've made lasting friends and my permanent place in the vast abyss of the internet.
I hope you stay around, so we can share old-timer memories with kids five years down the line. ("Remember when Version Vibrant launched and we were so excited? Those were the days... I like prunes..." ^_^)
