Kisuke sat in the backroom talking to Tessai as the door to the room slid open. "Well now, there is a face I have not seen in sometime. How are you Juushiro? Please tell me things have not gone over the top in the Seireitei since Toshiro was marked a traitor?" Kisuke looked to Tessai as he got up from the table to make more tea for them, "Please join us." he told Juushiro gesturing toward the table.
Juushiro chuckled lightly. "As usual, nothing gets by you." He took a seat at the table. "Seireitei, unfortunately, is in an uproar, and although Yama-ji hasn't made any further orders in regards to Toshiro's capture, it hasn't been long enough since Aizen's coup for another betrayal to be taken lightly or to question it. His squad is worried, though Rangiku has shown herself well able to handle that part of being a leader. Not as well with the paperwork though." A soft smile formed then faded as Juushiro then asked directly, "So Toshiro did pass this way?"
Kisuke smiled from under his hat hiding behind his fan, "when don't they come to me if Las Noches is involved? What can I help you with, Juushiro?" Tessai walked in serving them tea as they talked.
Juushiro remained quiet for a moment then chuckled quietly. "Nothing at all, Kisuke Urahara. I was passing through Karakura Town and decided to stop by. That is all." If Toshiro had passed through here, then he was no traitor and he had people to aid him. He needn't meddle further than occasionally asking after him. At least for now. "How goes Kurosaki's training?" he inquired after taking a sip of the tea offered him.
Kisuke grinned at Juushiro, not fooled in the least, "You wanted to know if I had seen Toshiro, didn't you? Toshiro is far from a traitor. I think old man Yama did that just to throw off suspicions if the news got to Aizen’s ears.” Taking a sip of his tea he sat the cup down and shruged, "I guess it could be worse."
At that point Kisuke looked around the room, "Kita? Why are you hiding from us? You know you are safe here. Come out."
Kita? Juushiro set his cup down and looked in the same direction as Kisuke.
A girl with bright sapphire eyes, long silver and black hair pulled back into a black bow, stepped from around the door into the room seeing a new face. She had a bright smile across her lips as she walked over to the table, "Hello Kisuke," She bowed slightly to Juushiro, "Hello. I am sorry I do not know your name to address you correctly."
Kisuke smiled in return, "Hello, Kita and this is Captain Juushiro Ukitake."
Kita looked to Juushiro once more and bowed again, "Excuse me, Captain. It is nice to meet you."
Juushiro chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck wth a gentle smile. No matter how old he was, he'd never get used to the bowing and scraping given a superior officer. "There is no need to bow to me, Kita," he said aloud, "I am here on personal business, not as a captain, and you are not my subordinate. Take a seat please."
Kita nodded and sat down at the table, "subordinate or not it is a sign of respect and you Captain, deserve that from all that greet you.”
Juushiro laughed lightly and glanced to the side. "That's a kind thing for you to say. May I ask why you were hiding?"
Kita looked to Kisuke, "I have caused enough trouble for Kisuke." She then looked back to Juushiro, "Me being here is like telling my master I want him to kill Kisuke and do away with all that he has to do with."
About to say something along the lines of trouble being Kisuke's middle name, his amusement faded after her description. Juushiro's eyes narrowed. "I don't like the sound of your master. Is there no way you can escape him?"
"He can try," Kisuke said with a smile, "but that espada has a lot to learn about this shop keeper."
