Kisuke entered the room, smiling. "I can never get enough of that laugh of yours, Kita." He titled his head. "So there's no bat on your skirt today?"
Kita shook her head. "No, and Kisuke, please refrain from calling him a bat."
"Hello, Kisuke. I've brought you a watermelon since they seem to be so excellent this season," Juushiro called from his position.
Kisuke's smile grew. "Well hello Juushiro. It seems I have many friends at my house today." He smiled, sitting next to Juushiro. He nodded to Kita, "I will do my best, but I can promise nothing."
"How are things at the shop?" Juushiro inquired, passing him a piece of watermelon while Kita left to prepare more tea.
"Better now that it is rebuilt." Kisuke responded.
"I had heard that you had to repair it. I'm glad to see that you were unharmed."
Kisuke opened his fan. "He has a long way to go before he can dislodge this shopkeeper. How is your health, Juushiro?"
"I have a slight cough," Juushiro admitted, before another small one escaped.
"Eh, that cough doesn't sound so good." Kisuke stated quietly from beneath his hat.
Kita came out and started pouring everyone more tea.
"So far, there's been no blood," Juushiro clarified quietly before taking a long drink of the warm tea. "It may be dust from my cleaning getting into my lungs," he continued in a stronger voice. "Try not to worry."
Kita nodded. "Very true. Dust can be a horrible thing." she added as she took her seat again.
Kisuke hummed in thought. "That is not so easy to dismiss sometimes, especially considering your history."
"That may be," Juushiro allowed, "but there is more to worry about than my health." He turned to Kita. "Thank you again for the tea."
"You're very welcome," Kita smiled again.
"It's a pity Aizen managed to snare you. You have a good heart."
Kita sighed and looked down at her fingers. "I wish I knew what I did wrong for him to find out," she mumbled in a low voice.
Kisuke Urahara shook his head. "You did nothing wrong." He lowered his hat further over his face. "I am afraid that maybe I was the one that led him to you."
"You?"
"Yes," Kisuke looked up, catching her eyes, "I have known who and what you are for awhile now. His fan eclipsed his eyes. "Though I never put on that I knew."
Kita smiled gently. "Aizen may be smart, but I doubt he could read your mind."
Juushiro finished his tea. "Unfortunately, that would be a probable reason since you have been someone he has had more than one reason to watch out for, even before you attempted to secure his capture for his beginning crimes." He nodded to Kita. "Kisuke created the Hougyoku, Kita. I don't know if you knew that."
She giggled, shaking her head. "You created that crazy thing that created me?"
