I watched the special edition of the news for that. Someone at school has written that on every board in the building. I remember missing a few hours of sleep because someone was popping firecrackers. XD It was worth it to watch people climb up trees and do cartwheels in the streets, though.
It's perfectly understandable for him to be excited. This has been over ten years coming. America won't loose sight of his goal, but a little celebration, especially with all the bad news he's been getting lately, is perfectly fine and completely expected. The death of Bin Laden is a large weight off America's shoulders, why shouldn't he enjoy his victory? Even if it's only for a few hours or a couple of days. He knows enough to remain wary and diligent.
