When I sleep I speak of you

My head rests on my pillow
and I start to wander
enough to speak softly

your head rests on on my shoulder
My tears slide onto you head
You speak so softly "Why are you crying"

"Its just what I do" I say
I'm afraid to say "I love you"
So in dreams I can tell you
that I miss you

you chased away my nightmares
It was only in your arms that I felt safe
From everything I'm afraid of
