I couldn't imagine the pain. But I love the chapter when she rams into him at the plaza. I find it funny and touching when he talks about Carlisle being right and that death didn't hurt because Bella was there. Then the transition from his dreams to the cool colected self that protects Bella in an instant.
One thing that bugs me though is toward the end of the book where he is kinda scolding her for believing him so easily when he told her that he didn't want her anymore. That broke my heart a bit.
edward left for a good reason to protect someone he cared for and loved wouldnt you do the same to protect them from being killed or worse yes it cause her pain but its better than having her die because of you (my opinion)
