Yeah, the main character should be unique. Try to make him as lovable as possible. It seems like to me that a lot of main characters are usually the naive, but strong characters, who start out as whimps and slowly get stronger...something about that bores me...O.o; Y'know...>3>
Well, I've seen some stories where they had really interesting and unique supporting characters, but you didn't totally get to know them, and that's a disappointment for the reader, or where they were supporting characters, but we have this whole chapter or whatever about them and y'know what, who really cares that much about them. Who cares if some random guy is cool and unique...if they don't do much...that just made an unneeded filler...>3>
Thanks! :D
(But I think it was just luck that the hair came out good. ;A; I think I've told you before, but sometimes I have these moments where I can draw, and then the moment's gone. xD;;;)
Well, I think the main character ought to be unique. xD
That's very true, though. And also very reassuring for me! xD I've been feeling some pressure lately to make really unique characters... I don't want to create a story or a character that's already been done before, y'know? But you telling me I don't need to make too unique of characters is a kind of relief for me. xD So thanks for that.
Wow...just 2 years...and you've improved so much. I really love how you crosshatched his hair! *.*
Just beware of having too unique of characters. I'm afraid of doing that with my Justice thing...y'know what...I'll just call mine the Justice project...
Most stories just don't need all the characters to be ridiculously interesting. Just think of it as drawing a picture, that there will be some parts that look better when they're more simplified than if you did them really detailed. Like hair. Even with realism, you should scribble to draw hair. It's simple, but it makes the picture look much better than if you did it the long way of drawing every strand.
