The other difference besides the topic of outfits is that their backstories are slightly different. While TGL!Rume ran away from home and kinda selfishly left Rafael alone at the time, in the group version's story, Rafael ran away first since he couldn't put up with how their dad treated him, this Rume got upset and lonely and ran off about a year or two later >_>
The two Rafaels' personalities are different, too. When I get to that point in TGL, I really think you might not like TGL!Raf, ahaha...
And I don't wanna make this comment too long, so I'll PM you the explanation on groups~
Yeah, that's the thing about tegaki's way of coloring: it just really requires patience, but once you get used to it, it's pretty simple c:
HECK, I'M WORKING ON CHIBIS OF RUMEIDIA ON TEGAKI RIGHT NOW.
Or more specifically, the Rumeidia that I use in that one TegakiE group since I count her and TGL!Rume as somewhat different characters, but yeah >XD
Oooh...! O.O <--- This is my exact expression and face seeing this! XD This is REALLY awesome for tegakie~! It's so smooth and clean! WOW!
Ah, when it comes to lineart in tegakie, I just ignore it...'orz It's very hard to do lineart...TT^TT Oi, but wow, that technique you used sounds really interesting and very hard...O.O
Oh my gosh. I never have the patience to re-do anything. xDD AND EVEN WHEN I TRY, IT ENDS UP LOOKING WORSE. ;A;
You put so much time into your tegakie drawings. :D How impressive~
If you want to make a tutorial, go for it. :)
My comment is so small in comparison to yours. xD;
Hee~ I saw this<3
As for how I do it, be prepared for a LOAD of explanation here:
1. I do guidelines in gray(the one in between the dark gray and the white), then use white with the large brush(with lowered opacity, usually the 2nd or 3rd highest opacity) to lighten it so the guidelines won't be as noticeable when I color(because I'm too lazy to erase them)
2.Do the lineart, and then I usually color the skin first. For paler skin I lower the opacity, for more "saturated" skin I make it higher, and I just color in the skin. Then for "shading" the skin I change the opacity on my brush to the second lowest for pale skin, third for more saturated skin and start shading in the "right areas."
3.You might wanna re-do some of your lines after coloring the skin, but after that is usually the hair. So usually I pick a certain color as a "base," put it on the second highest opacity and start coloring in the hair(after that you may want to re-do the lines again). Then I pick a darker color, put it on the second lowest opacity and go over the hair, then use one or two more darker colors and repeat. And highlights I just use a brighter color and yeah. When I color black hair, though, I usually just take solid black and color in the hair with no shading or highlights, and for blond hair I just take a light yellow and color in the hair.
4.Then the clothes, nothing special. Just color them in carefully, make sure nothing overlaps, then the shading by either using a slightly darker color, a very dark gray or the same color but with lower opacity.
5.Re-do any lines, and then the eyes and face at last(I always seem to do that last for some reason...). Just color white under the eyelids, then color the eyes with whatever. Then blush if you want, I usually just use the same color I used for the skin at the second lowest opacity and just color the cheeks a bit. Careful not to use too much, but if you accidently do, you could always just use the undo button, hopefully.
And yeah, that's how I do it 8D Tegaki kind of requires a lot of carefulness and patience, ahaha... |D Hmm...I should probably make a small tutorial comic on this >XD

COOLIO. :0
Yeah, I saw the Rumeidia for the group. She seems a liiitle different, but maybe it's just 'cause she's not in her usual battle outfit. xD
By the way, how do groups work on Tegakie? :/ they really confuse me.
