This is a world I made mostly for my own use, but I made it a public world anyways. I'll be posting things about story outlines, my characters, my comics (including fan comics), WIPs, ect... It's pretty much a world where I can store information and/or plan things. xD
Below are short descriptions of my stories to help you know what's going on. xD It also shows which characters are in which story, along with their extended profile if I have one made. Some stories aren't mentioned because I don't work on/think about them often. Therefore, not all of my characters are mentioned.

Uh, as thanks (?), here's some ramblings about Noland's, Stefan's, and Gabe's childhoods.
This is how they all looked when they were around 16. :V I also forgot how to draw teenagers, and they all look so young. ._____. Stefan's hair is supposed to be puffy, but... it just looks like it always does, somehow. "orz And sorry that Gabe's drawing is so sloppy. >3> also yeah Noland's just looks like Noland's head + smaller body aaaaagghghgh
Anyway, here's some notes on their childhood!
Noland
(I wasn't sure for some time if I actually wanted to make this Noland's childhood, but I eventually got used to thinking about it. Kinda nervous about posting this because I don't know anything about the 80's, 90's, and Georgia, but.....)
Noland was born in 1980, somewhere in Georgia. He was even more quiet as a kid than he is now; he never made any close friends, as most of the members in his community were fairly extroverted people that he didn't connect well with. His graduating class was around 100 people.
Noland grew up with a delicate and proper mother, who had Noland when she was 18; and a mostly absent father, who was 22 when Noland was born. His mother was mainly caring and fairly open minded toward Noland, but unusually strict when assuring that Noland would grow up a "good and polite" boy. His dad did not play a large part in his childhood. The memory Noland most closely associates with his dad is stealing his dad's old record player and listening to his dad's records when he was in high school. (And before you think I mean this, I actually mean this. He also had one of these.)
Living in conservative Georgia, Noland was taught to see sex and lust as evil/dirty/bad (unless you're married), and even now feels a sense of guilt when experiencing emotions of that sort. This is somewhat related to his discomfort with being in a relationship with Stefan... but that's more related to his discomfort with being openly bisexual, I guess. (On that note, I guess I'll mention that he has no problems with other people's sexual orientations, and is more or less more comfortable now with his orientation; but he doesn't tell people he's bi unless they ask, and unless he feels that they won't judge him.)
Noland went to college in Pennsylvania (probably some fictional college, idk). In his freshman year, he made an effort to get rid of his southern accent because he felt it somehow made him less smart than the other students. He became more social in his sophomore year onward, and became fairly comfortable with a small group of friends. His best friend in college was Stefan, who he befriended his senior year. After graduating, he continued to live in the area near his college.
Noland's dream as a kid was to be a fiction story author.
He also took up smoking when he was 18.
Stefan
Stefan was also born in 1980, somewhere in Pennsylvania. (Probably around 3 hours from where he would eventually go to college.) While Stefan grew up in a conservative household like Noland, Stefan was expose to more diversity as he lived in a mixed liberal and conservative community. He still largely maintained a conservative and moralistic opinion on many aspects such as romance, drugs, and clothing. He eventually began to pride himself on being uptight and proper compared to many of his rascally teenage peers. (?? rascally teenage.......)
Stefan's had an interest in classy fashion since he was a kid, and often found his "church clothes" more appealing than the casual clothes his dad would buy him. When he was old enough to buy clothes on his own, he started buying ties, different styles of collared shirts, and dress shoes; that said, he mostly wore slim fit jeans in high school. (He started wearing chino pants and slacks in college.) His mom appreciated his nice way of dressing, but his dad thought it was a little odd.
Stefan and his parents are strikingly similar, but he did not get along well with them because he found them overbearing and cold. (Interestingly, he seemed to agree with a lot of the demands they forced onto him.)
Though Stefan was mostly quiet in school (not out of shyness, but out of disinterest with teenage conversation), Stefan was admired by a certain group of his peers. He briefly had a girlfriend in his senior year of high school.
Despite his internal pride, Stefan began learning to act in a way with people that would result in benefit for him. "Strategies" he began to use were flattery, listening more than speaking, using proper language ("yes/no" vs "yeah/nah"), and getting on peoples' good sides. This acted as a seeming sense of modesty, but was really a way for him to get people to look at him in a positive light. (This is basically all "kissing up." Seeing as he essentially becomes a professional kiss-up, it makes sense to meeee......;;;)
Stefan goes to college a few hours away from his home. This is the same college that Noland goes to. In college, Stefan always put himself on a higher moral and intellectual ground than his peer; he was never ashamed or embarrassed for his morality. Though he saw himself as better for being "moral", he did not usually force his morals onto his peers. His openness/pride with his morals and opinions helped prevent his actions from being awkward. He made a fair amount of friends, even when their lifestyles directly contradicted his.
Stefan befriended Noland in his senior year, and saw him as one of his best friends in college. After Noland's fumble with their relationship and their break up, Stefan makes no effort to patch up their friendship. He moves to New York City after college.
Gabe
(I've talked about Gabe at length before because I did that big long meme with him a year or so ago... but here you go, anyway! I'll try to keep this brief.)
Gabe was born in 1982, in some suburban area. Idk where. :M; M-MAYBE SOMEWHERE NOT THE EAST COAST?? Actually, probably still the east coast because he moves to New York City when he's 19. I'm considering either somewhere in Indiana (not east coast), or somewhere around DC (east coast). (??? SO RANDOM.)
Out of Noland, Stefan, and Gabe, Gabe's parents are the most relaxed with him while still being involved. And unlike the other two, Gabe has a sister! So he's always had someone his age to interact with.
Back in high school, Gabe was largely the same as he is now: loud, rambunctious, fun-loving, kind of raunchy, and lazy with work. He talked back to his teachers and superiors a lot because he thought it was entertaining. He had a good relationship with both of his parents, but was a little closer to his mom.
He... basically dressed the same as he does now... except his pants are tighter now. Idk. xD;
His best friend in high school was Will, who parted ways with him at graduation. Gabe never went to college, and spent the year after senior year working in an automotive shop. Using the money he earned from work, he moved to New York and worked as an underwear model for a couple years. There was maybe a year where Stefan and Gabe both lived in New York City at the same time, but the two of them never met.

Yooooo, whuzzup. :M Yesterday, I wasted basically the whole day drawing this ~*~Couples Progression Meme~*~ with Stefan and Gabe. I was going to submit this as a fan comic since I spent a weirdly long amount of time drawing this, but I chickened. :V SO HERE IT IS, IN MY WORLD THAT ONLY MY SUBSCRIBERS ORDINARILY LOOK AT...
Note: Gabe says the F word, so uh... just be aware of that. :B SORREH...;;; I-I think this still counts as PG-13 because he only says it twice, and in a non-sexual way. *u*;;;;
ANYWAYS, HERE YOU GO.
UH... SO... YEAH, HOPE YOU FOUND THAT ENTERTAINING. I actually typed panel-by-panel commentary, but it was really long, so I'm not posting it here. -u-b If you are weird and like reading my long ramblings about my OCs, you can find my babbling in this thing's dA footnotes. You most likely will not be enlightened.
Remember the last time I posted a meme with Stefan and Gabe? I think it's safe to say that I've gotten better at drawing profiles, suits, and Gabe's Hair. 8D I also used the best adverbs in 2012. Like "undetailedly." I should bring that one back...
I haven't posted anything with Stefan and Gabe together in a while. Not since, uh... this? That's like... A WHOLE MONTH WITHOUT STEFAN AND GABE STUFF. Time to fix that. :^D
And you thought you could escape the SteGabe. Heh. Heh. Heh. WRONG.
Okay, anyway... this is all actually rather unromantic, so I don't even know.
This first one is the first thing I drew once I fixed my tablet pen. 8D I wanted to draw part of a conversation between Stefan and Gabe. :V Here's the quick and dirty background information: Stefan and Gabe have been dating for a couple months, and Gabe wants to come with Stefan to Stef's parents' place for new year's. Stefan refuses because he hasn't come out to his parents, and Gabe complains... and the two finally compromise that if Stefan tells his parents about Gabe and his parents want to meet him, then Gabe gets to come over.
And then Gabe gets to come over. :^D So exciting. But not really. BAHBUBUHBEBABOO. (??)
The French is brought to you by ~*~GOOGLE TRANSLATE~*~! So idk how accurate it actually is. SORRY, PEOPLE WHO SPEAK FRENCH! Also sorry it's handwritten. Here's what it says, if you can't read my handwriting:
Gabe: So I can come? Sweet!
Stefan: Yes, but Gabriel--
Gabe: Text me the address, 'kay? I'll see you soon--
Stefan: GABRIEL, LISTEN TO ME, DAMN IT.
Stefan: My parents are extremely judgmental. And cold.
Gabe: Wow, Stef. Rude much?
Stefan: EXACTLY! I get it from my parents! And there are two of them. Compared to me, that's double the rudeness.
Gabe: Why are you telling me this?
Stefan: I only want you to be aware of the situation you're getting into.
Gabe: It's cool, Stef. I'll be fine. Quit spazzing.
Stefan: But still... It would still be a good idea to consider dressing nicely, for first impression's sake. For instance, maybe... er...
Stefan: S-sortez vos boucles d'oreilles, et porter de beaux vetements... et de se rasar la barbe, peut-etre. Par consequent, ils ne pensent pas que vous etes... uh... rampant... (Translation: T-take out your earrings, and wear nice clothes... And shave your beard, maybe. That way, they won't think you're... uh... creepy...)
Gabe: ...Uh, what's with the sudden French?
Stefan's mom: This is awful suspicious...
Stefan's dad: What kind of person is this "boyfriend"?
If you couldn't tell (because it's not obvious, probably;;;), the reason Stefan starts talking in French is because he doesn't want his parents to understand what he's saying. If his parents hear things like "piercings" and "shave your beard" and "creepy," they're going to be even more suspicious than they already are. (Yeah, they'd get suspicious at "shave your beard." Idk. IDK!)
Oh yeah, and Gabe does indeed understand French.
...Yeah, sorry it's so text heavy. I hardly post things with tons of dialogue like this, but I actually think about dialogue a lot. xD I also have hardly any things with Stefan and Gabe talking as a couple. As you can see, they're basically the same as they always are. 8D
AND IF TB SHIPS IT... THEN SO SHOULD YOU is the moral of this comic, I guess. (??) Actually, the main reason TB is all for SteGabe is it means Stefan will stop eyeing (?) Tomato. :^D
And yes, I haven't drawn a serious picture of TB in so long!! Not since 2011. I kind of forgot how he looked. xD I made his hair shorter than it used to be... oops. But I did manage to remember that beautiful cowlick in the back. I'm also thinking I should make TB shorter than Tomato... hm.
I also have trouble with drawing Tomato seriously. :V I can't decide how manly or feminine I want to make his face. orz I kind of like how I drew it up there... it seems like a good enough balance. -u-b

YO! I'm working on a character for Kasa's TWEWY role play. HERE'S A PIC. WOW!
(Sorry some of the words got cut off. HEH HEH...;;;)
Yeah, her name... I was walking around one day, and the phrase "vanity fanfare" popped into my head. I thought to myself, "WOW! That sounds like it would have a lot of meaning, but it actually is pointless and completely nonsensical!" And so, I passed it onto this character because it matched her to a tee. Vanity Fanfare means absolutely nothing, and that's exactly the point.
Although, it turns out that vanity fair is a magazine or something, so. hm. anyway....
SO YES. This is Vanity Fanfare (she goes by the whole phrase, not just Vanity) (??? OBNOXIOUS!), and she is basically everything that tends to moderately annoy me compiled into one character. WOW, WHAT A NEGATIVE WAY TO CREATE A CHARACTER! I thought it'd be an interesting experience to roleplay as something that I try really hard not to be. (I probably still do act like her to certain extents, but HAY, NOBODY'S PERFECT...)
So here's some stuff on this lady... PS: My intention isn't to have you agree with this character. I made her from things that I disagree with.
Sometimes I tend to create characters based on logical fallacies (?? idk, but that's how Kasey was made somehow), so Vanity Fanfare's theme is "either-or fallacy" + "slippery slope fallacy". I don't exactly know how to explain this, but the feeling I get from her is the same feeling I get from those fallacies. Like this: She has a sense of urgency that things are quickly falling into despair when they're really not (slippery slope), and that she's right while the disagreement is wrong--no leeway (either-or). Yeah. (???? AKIOH, YOU NEVER MAKE SENSE!)
It says up in that picture that she "tries really hard to be interesting." What this means is that she intentionally gives quirks to herself to try and appear unique. Examples: she wears blue eye shadow on her cheeks as blush, she speaks in long roundabout sentences when she knows how to speak normal... I got this idea from things I hear, like "wearing mismatching socks makes me more comfortable", "putting my left shoe on before my right shoe messes my whole day up", etc... I see that these things can be true, but sometimes I wonder if people actually just say these things to make themselves appear more "quirky". So I used the "quirky" assumption and applied it to this character. She intentionally does things that people ordinarily don't do JUST BECAUSE.
She also loves writing bad poetry! Like really dark, creepy, gory, violent stuff that actually has no meaning. The point behind this is that dark things and violent things (writing, poetry, art, etc) can have meaning if one makes it have meaning, but all Vanity Fanfare cares about is the aesthetic appeal rather than an underlying message. Aestheticism would be fine if that's what she was trying to portray, but instead she's claiming something has deep meaning because it's aesthetically appealing... which is a little faulty.
Also, she's super protective of her poetry, and does not take critique well. Because if you disagree with her, you're just not understanding, for her message is far too deep and philosophical for you to understand, gosh darn it!
Anther thing is that she's more or less looking for pity, praise, or any form of attention.
One last thing: Her real name is Carter Blank. Originally I was going to name her Smith, because I thought the plainness of it would be a good contrast to her extravagant pretense. (I got the idea from the book 1984, from Winston Smith. Winston = important name, Smith = common boring name.) But I like the name Carter, and it sounds more androgynous than the masculine Smith, so I went with it. I think the last name Blank is enough to give away that she’s actually pretty boring (“blank”) underneath her act.
Her profile and backstory are still in progress, but her personality is slowly solidifying. So yay!
Right now I'm trying to refresh my memory on pins and psychs and things, which is going okay... truth be told, I was always a little iffy about it even when playing the game. xD
NOW THAT I'VE SUFFICIENTLY TALKED YOUR EAR OFF... Thanks for reading! And sorry if this character somehow offends you. One day, I'm going to offend someone for making characters with traits that I disagree with. I always feel like I'm making fun of these people. I-IT'S FINE IF YOU DO SOME OF THESE THINGS, JUST NOT ALL OF THEM AT THE SAME TIME! Vanity Fanfare is obviously an exaggeration...!

Hey guys! I'm mostly posting this for my own use so I don't forget this stuff, but take a gander if you want. :M This is a timeline of what Stefan and Gabe were doing before the current OFAV comic strips. I could have included Tomato or Jo in the timeline, but... Tomato was in elementary school when Stefan was in college, so that would be weird to talk about. And I mention Jo occasionally in Gabe's timeline. So there.
YEAH, IDK. I write/draw about this stuff sometimes, so think of this as a brief summary of their lives! 8D And by brief, I mean this is actually kind of long.
There are also a couple characters in Gabe's storyline that I haven't talked about here on theO that I have mentioned on dA. I feel like I should at least officially introduce Will someday...
Pre-2000
Stefan: Age 15-18 in 1995-1998. Graduates in 1998. High school is when he begins to develop his tendencies to speak in a manner such that he's always on someone's good side. (Something he does currently when he's trying to book gigs for Tomato. He doesn't care so much around people he's close to.) Mentally, he's very cynical. He has one girlfriend some time in high school, but she breaks up with him after a couple months. He's not bothered because he didn't have strong feelings for her, but he still tried his hardest to be loving while in the relationship. He begins college in 1998.
Gabe: From 1997-1999, he's in high school (age 15-17). Freshman year he has a secret relationship with a friend of his named Dave. Dave accidentally lets it slip, and puts all the blame on Gabe. Gabe accepts the gossip; comes out at school, but not to his family. For part of freshman and sophomore year, his old friends avoid him. He befriends William mid-sophomore year, which helps bridge the gap of awkwardness (?) between him and his old friends. Gabe develops a crush on Will, but he keeps it a secret all through high school.
On a side note, Will ends up marrying his high school sweetheart later in life.
2000-2001
Stefan: Age 20-21, sophomore to junior year in college. Around this time, Stefan begins to notice he's romantically inclined to men the same way he is to women. His feelings for boys don't really surprise or bother him, but he decides not to mention it to anyone due to the fact that he likes girls and can appear straight if he only shows an interest in women. He has a girlfriend, who this time around he is more serious about. Things initially go well between them, but they slowly drift apart due to personal differences. (Stefan was too serious and unromantic for her taste, something like that.) (obviously I haven't had the chance to thoroughly think about this. xD) Their break-up was a mutual decision, but officially it was Stefan's ex-girlfriend who broke up with Stefan. Late 2001, Stefan befriends Noland.
Gabe: Age 18-19. Gabe graduates from high school in 2000, and does not pursue further education. Gabe comes out to his parents after Jo comes out as bisexual to them. (His parents have suspected for a while that Gabe is gay, but have wanted him to tell them himself.) After high school, his father "makes" him work in an automotive shop. He spend the next two years saving up money so he can move out of his home town and quit his job.
2002
Stefan: Age 22, and a senior in college. Stefan and Noland become close friends. Noland comes out and confesses to Stefan, to which Stefan admits similarly. He and Noland begin dating, but their relationship is more physical than emotional, unlike his previous relationship. (Stefan in the future describes to Gabe that he was "100% infatuated with Noland".) Stefan discovers that Noland has been cheating on him late in their relationship, but seems willing to make up with Noland. However, Noland thinks it best for them to break up and their relationship ends. They don't talk to each other for the rest of their college life.
Stefan graduates in 2002 with a degree in marketing.
Gabe: Age 20. Gabe moves to New York and works as an underwear model. He befriends a British (??) model, and the two of them engage in a long-term physical (but not romantic) relationship.
2003-2005
Stefan: Age 23-25. Stefan is hired at a modelling agency as a booking agent for miscellaneous models from the agency, and an overseer for casting calls and open calls (ie: an audition judge of sorts). Because he works with a variety of models at this time, he doesn't become attached to any particular one as friends or romantically. He is not particularly close to any of his coworkers either, because he tends to focus more on work than socializing--even after work hours. He becomes more comfortable being alone around this time, and his distaste for romance becomes more concrete. He is stationed somewhere in the United States.
Gabe: Age 21-23. While in New York, Gabe often uses his British friend (sorry for the lack of name) as a guinea pig for his hobby of hairstyling. Overtime he discovers he enjoys styling hair more than he enjoys standing around in his underpants in front of a camera--I mean, modelling. Luckily (if you want to call it luck), he gets fired in 2004 for getting a tattoo on his arm. He moves back home that year, and discusses with his sister that he wants to be a hairstylist. They decide they want to team up as a hair-and-make-up duo (Jo just finished cosmetology classes at a community college). The two of them spend 2005 figuring out how to get started, when Gabe throws in the idea of moving to Paris (despite only having mediocre skills in French).
Somewhere in 2004 or 2005, Gabe gets that weird tattoo on his chest. (Not that it's relevant at all...)
2006-2007
Stefan: Age 26-27. Stefan is assigned to Tomato as his personal modelling agent. Initially he finds the 17 year old boy extremely naive and highly annoying. After spending copious amounts of time together (and partially because of accidental flirting on Tomato's part), Stefan develops an awkward crush on Tomato. In late 2007, the two move to Paris on orders from Stefan's boss.
Gabe: Age 24-25. Gabe and Jo move to Paris, France. While Gabe's French is bad, Jo knows enough from high school and miscellaneous classes to help the two of them get by. Some time in 2006 the two of them meet and befriend Kasey, another American living in France. (How the heck...) The three of them then decide to team up as a hair and make-up trio. (??) Gabe spends 2006 and 2007 as a freelance hairstylist, rooming with Jo and Kasey until he acquires enough money for himself. Initially he thinks Kasey is annoying, but they eventually bond over their love for attractive male celebrities. (??????) Oh yeah, and his French does get better over time... Sort of.
2008-2009
Stefan: Age 28-29. In Paris, Tomato finds a boyfriend. Stefan initially thinks that Tomato having a boyfriend should prevent his feelings from becoming too prevalent, but instead he develops a kind of jealousy. As usual, Stefan tries to ignore his feelings.
On his bosses orders, Stefan hires a hair-and-make-up crew for Tomato. I don't know exactly how he finds out about Gabe, Jo, and Kasey (probably through a combination of phone calls, the internet, and the newspaper), but he does and he hires them.
Gabe: Age 26-27. Gabe thinks Stefan is physically attractive right off the bat, but at this point he's not emotionally attracted to him. This is the point in life when he notices he feels the most comfortable where he's at. He loves his job and and the people he spends time with. YAY!
2010
Stefan: Age 30. This is the current year in OFAV! A bit before the comics start, he hires Dean Johnson for help with things besides hair and make-up. He sees Dean more as an intern than an employee initially, but eventually trusts him with important and difficult tasks.
Gabe: Age 28. This is the current year in OFAV! Around this time Gabe begins to develop romantic feelings for Stefan, and tries to become closer to him on a more intimate level.
Even though OFAV technically takes place in 2010, I'll probably still make references to things that happen after 2010. Yes, nonsensicality!
I feel like the timeline ends kind of abruptly. Oh well. Thanks for reading, if you did!
I really don't know why I have all this stuff planned out, considering it NEVER SHOWS UP IN OFAV. Or idk, maybe there'll be references to some of this stuff occasionally...
