yea, those Giant Gram games are pretty fun, i got menu translations for both of them yesterday, so ill be able to know what the menu and options say lol.
The NJPW Toukon Retsuden 4 game i have is pretty hard, i havent figured out the controls yet, so i still need to check those out and get the timing down for everything.
Last week when i was going through the instruction manual and skill book for the Giant Gram games, it showed that Wolf Hawkfield was from the Virtua Fighter games, which was pretty cool. I plan on trying to get one of those Berserk games on Dreamcast, they look pretty cool lol
Dude, Giant Gram! That was the game I was talking about that with SoulBroRyu that I had. Since we were playing Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown online, I mentioned how Wolf Hawkfield was in a Japanese wrestling game for the Dreamcast and I forgot the name of it. Then somebody watching us play on twitch mentioned Giant Gram and I remembered that was the game. Didn't even know it was an AJPW game.
I used to import a lot of Japanese Dreamcast games back in the day. I remember I even imported Marvel Vs Capcom 2 because we just couldn't wait for it to come out. XD
yea lol, its a pretty cool process and im hoping to buy more Dreamcast games as i find them, plus i may order some as well if they dont cost too much. I havent messed with the Climax Landers game yet, but i will in a little bit so i can see what it is like.
That brings me back lol! Many a year ago...maybe 7 or so...was when my brother and I did that for the first time. Got boot CD's...I think we may have bought 1 that was actually more like Genie codes (cd) type of thing that enabled the imports to be played...and we downloaded one...but yeah. We have a ton of imports, especially for dreamcast. :] Such a great system, and it isn't hard to play imports on a US system at all! We also have a Japanese dreamcast (sakura taisen version; it's pink lol)...so yeah. This is cool with you posting about this. I have a fond place in my heart from dreamcast and import games. <3
