Well, college is expensive no matter what, 'cause even if it's like community college you still have to pay for it (though we have some classes and programs that you can do in PESH (my school) that gets its credits transferred over to the community college near here)
Yeah, it would be better to be able to go to college and stay at home still. And you're totally right, even if you aren't making enough there are other jobs you can do.
I hope it's for all 4 years...O_o...I think that was what they said when I asked, otherwise I'm so screwed XD Uum, college's must be really expensive over there! O.o Scary! Over here it would cost considerably less than that, even to go to one of those really high class universities! And here, if your doing your first degree or whatever, you don't have to pay anything (only if you were born here in Scotland though).
Yeah, I think it must be kind of easy to cheat doing an online course. It seems more fun to go to an actual college and meet new people and stuff anyway. I do wonder if a lot of people will try doing those though (most of my school friends want to go to University, but I think that's more because they want to move out than actually study XD).
Yeah, being a hairstylist would be fun. ^^ There's this one school called Bradford or Branford academy that looks cool but it's all the way in Connecticut or something, so I think I'm just gonna go somewhere in TX ('cause even if my parents pay for my college, I doubt they're gonna pay for a ticket to there and looking for apartments and that stuff). Academically I'll be fine. I just need to be good with my hands (lol, perverted thoughts XD). I guess if I don't make enough, I could do two jobs or whatever, I can type really fast so maybe I'll end up working at some boring office job and then go work in a salon afterwards XD
Cute name. At least it'll be interesting there with a name like that right? $20,000 doesn't seem that much if it pays for all your years, but usually that price is for like one term, I think, in most places around here.
Hm...I wonder how many people at my school are gonna take online college. I mean, it seems like it would be really easy to cheat with that on tests and stuff if you're submitting the answers electronically XD And if you're doing all the work by yourself, there's no point in having an online college thing if you can just look everything up. Hm. I'm done talking now XD
Oops XD My brain is mush today haha. Well, in advance then!
I don't really think it's aiming low, since there's not much that schoolwork would be good for as a beautician ^^ (It takes skill!) It does sound like a good career! Culinary Arts might be good too, but I think that if you're more interested in being a beautician, you should go for that. I think I've asked you this before, is it hairdressing you want to go into? (Or am I confused again XD I don't trust my brain tonight at all!)
Haha you'll laugh if I tell you XD It's called "Max the Mutt School of Animation", it's got such a weird name ^_^; . But international fee's are like £14,000!!! T_T Which according to my currency converter is about $20,000...¬_¬; And I don't even want to think about Visa's and a place to stay XD And my family doesn't really have the money, I don't want to ask my parents for any help with it, so I'm paying everything myself. I can manage though, I'm sure ^^ Just need to find a job to earn some cash! (And I'll have to work while I study too probably).
Aaaw, thank you so much ^_^ Good luck to you too!

Thanks, you're not late, it's this Saturday, as in day after tomorrow X3
Yeah, I looked some up and apparently I'm way overqualified XD They say a requirement is to have at least past 7th grade XD So I guess I'm aiming low but at least I'm aiming somewhere. And culinary arts would be my backup (though it should prolly be the other way around ^^;)
What's the name of the college? I heard the Art Institute has a place in Canada. Good luck. Let's try our hardest.
Uwaaaah! Happy Birthday then! ^^ (A little late). Yeah college is expensive!! T_T I'm taking a year (or however long it takes ^^; ) out before I go to save for it, because I want to go to this Canadian animation college, and it is sooooo unbelievably expensive!
I'm sure you'll get into beauty school fine! It sounds kind of fun to do something like that.
