A similar law was passed in AZ, and some other state passed a law that doesn't let two people adopt a child together, and they even said it was aimed at gay couples.
Michael Crichton is one of my favorite authors of all time. I'm so shocked and sad to hear that he's gone. Only 66 year old, that's way to young. At the very least, his last book will be coming out in May (it was suppose to come out next month).

Prop 8 in California, Amendment 2 here in Florida... Proof that that fight for equality is ongoing and has still far to travel.
I was pretty shocked when I saw that Michael Crichton had died. ._.
