Confession: I get antsy when I hear of Hollywood creating a live-action adaption of an anime. Why? Because of that inner-fear of them depriving the original soul of the product. Other than that though, I can definitely see your point. As fans of anime and manga, we generally overreact to almost any news concerning it (which, as I've come to understand, just comes with the job description) and should seriously consider giving Hollywood and the actors involved a chance before we pick up our torches and pichforks. Personally, I've already been in the process of trying to do that, but after enduring what they did to Dragonball and now hearing about the drama behind Avatar: The Last Airbender I can't say that it's been successful...
On another note, I can totally dig the thought of watching Organization XIII jamming out to HSM. Hells bells--after watching them dance to the Lucky Star theme song, I could probably watch them do just about everything! XD
Rofl. Before "Pokemon", there was even "Monster Rancher"! I only know that one because of an older friend, though...And "Yugioh" is more of a fusion of "Pokemon" and that card game "Magic". So, yeah, just some more unoriginality for your list. n__n
As for Hollywood, I don't care what they do. *sigh* If they didn't provide me with some entertainment, I'd say that they should go jump off Mount Everest, but, hey, a girl's gotta kill boredom SOMEHOW...

I don't care who plays who in a live action adaptation of an anime, as long as they don't entirely butcher it. *nods*
Bazinga!
