Fizzarolli Has Low Self-Esteem
One of the more phenomenal cartoons that has come out in the last five years is Helluva Boss, while I can fill a page for each character, I'd like to start with Fizzarolli. Spoiler warning is in effect.
Fizzarolli grew up with Blitzø in the circus and the two were best friends until a tragic accident cost Fizz his arms and horns. Both imps went their separate ways with Fizz under Sin Lord of Greed Mammon became a full time clown becoming a renowned mega star in the process, around the same time he fell in love with the Sin Lord of Lust Asmodeus, seeing his worth as a product of Mammon with massive insecurities about his broken horns, he slowly gets more scared of losing everything when he is kidnapped by Striker and forced to confront Blitzø about the incident in their past along with the risks of Fizz's relationship with Asmodeus becoming public among the higher class of demons; when tasked with winning the clown pageant against stiff competition against sexy circus twins as well as that one toxic fan that takes it too far with insulting him, Fizzarolli has a complete mental breakdown which forces Asmodeus to step in to save his sanity, reminding Fizz that he's not going to lose everything and that he is better than Mammon ever was.
With a new sense of worth with a song number called "two minutes notice" Fizz drops the ultimate fuck you to Mammon and quits.
The whole thing is sweetened by Asmodeus declaring his love for Fizzarolli publically while defending him from Mammon.
Anyone who has ever been a content creator having to navigate a dangerous web of constantly playing to a corporate puppet master all the time thinking that your achievements are the product of your employers and not your own talent and thinking that quitting is the end of everything will know all too well how Fizzarolli feels, it's not just YouTube or Twitch, it could be a toxic work environment in any job, a sports person fearing failure or a hobby that's stopped being fun, everyone who has ever felt that will grab a new perspective from witnessing Fizzarolli's mic drop moment.
