I really enjoy Lord of the Rings. I also enjoy a good roleplaying game. One of the most famous roleplaying games happens to be Dungeons and Dragons.
...and this is what happens when they collide.
Yes, I realize my dorky side is showing. I don't care Twenty Sided is hilarious. >_>'
(I am a big fangirl with dubs to this is amazing)

How's your Valentine's Day outlook? Good? Bad? Rather not talk about it? No matter what the case, Movie Sign is ready and willing to give your sense of humor some loving, so long as you're willing to commit. You won't be sorry.
What is Movie Sign?
Every week, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. We use episodes available on Google Video so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
It's a comedy show about a man and his robots, stranded in space and forced to watch some of the worst movies ever made as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, talk back to the films and riff on them. You can read up on the show over at the SoL.
Next Episode
Prepare for blast-off when we board 12 to the Moon. The best and brightest of humanity have been assembled for Earth's first international expedition to the Moon... Wait, did I say best and brightest? These are the last people you'd want to send to the moon. Besides mistrustful of each other due to international prejudices, they're also dumber than a bag of hammers, as illustrated when one of the "scientists" puts his hands into a strange liquid gushing from a moon rock... only to discover that it's acid (Tom: "Well, fools rush in Herb."). You also get a couple exploring a cave who decide to sneak off for a little make-out session (isn't this supposed to be the 50s?). If that wasn't enough, the moon happens to be inhabited, and the moon people aren't too keen on this intrusion into their territory by upstart, primitive humans.
The film is preceded by the musical short Design for Dreaming, in which a woman dreams of brand new cars and a space-age kitchen. It features the voice of Thurl Ravenscroft, famous for the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and as the voice of Tony the Tiger.
Host Segment Highlights
It all starts off normal - Mike and the 'bots are playing space cadets when suddenly Nuveena, woman of the future (from the short), appears! Although only able to communicate (and be communicated to) through song and dance, our hapless host quickly falls for her. But with Crow and Tom hanging around, can the romance really last?

About the Anime Club
The Anime Club is a weekly room in theOtaku's community chat where we meet to have fun laughing, crying, heckling, and spazzing together while watching a few episodes of anime. Rather than watching mainstream shows, however, we pick out good, yet lesser-known anime as an opportunity for people to enjoy new shows. Streaming links are usually provided for those without a copy of the anime.
Current Anime
Lovely Complex is a 24 episode romantic comedy that follows the unlikely relationship of Koizumi Risa (voiced by Okamura Akemi), a very tall girl, and Ootani Atsushi (voiced by Nagata Akira), a very short boy, as they work their way through high school. It's one of the best series in its genre that I've seen, with top-notch humor, some touching moments, and plenty of unexpected twists.
Kurenai is a 12 episode drama/comedy series with some action sprinkled in here and there. It's about Kurenai Shinkurou (voiced by Sawashiro Miruki), a 16-year-old mediator whose job is to settle disputes between the client and other parties – even if it means getting violent – and his latest assignment of guarding Kuhouin Murasaki (voiced by Yuuki Aoi), the 7-year-old runaway daughter of the powerful Kuhouin family. While there's many different themes running through the series, it mostly deals with Shinkurou struggling to take care of Murasaki while the little princess also struggles to adapt to life outside the Kuhouin estate.

Hello everyone… Long time no see…
I am here today to ask for a little help for a fellow Otaku. Dyanaanime needs a word translated from English to Japanese.
She does not have guest posting privileges in the Watercooler yet. So I thought I would help her out and see if anyone here could help her out with this. She has tried translators on the net and it is not working for her.
So any help you could give in this would be awesome…
Thank you so much for your help and the word we need is ‘Blood King’.
Thanks again,
Kitabug69 and Dyanaanime
