I don't get the "name a character known for being a child." question. How is this different from actually being a child? Is it supposed to be an adult that acts like a child, an adult the size of a child? A loli character? Or an actual child?

The way I answered it was to think of a non-child character who acted childlike. I used Yui from K-On! as my example. Idk if that helps.
