I bet if they showed them more of the episodes and not just the intro they'd understand, because the show is funnier than they know.
What I'd really like to see is a grown-ups react, specifically grown-ups who grew up familiar with the original toys and shows/movies. You know, people around my age. :V

I had some of the original pony toys... I wonder if they are still lurking at my parents house... I now feel a little old XD
