Trying to catch up on updates here and I just now came across this. I am both shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I may not have known TimeChaser personally, but as a fellow subscriber and TheO member, he truly seemed like a genuinely nice person. I remember reading back on his last update regarding his health issues a few years ago. It feels so unreal now.
Rest in peace, TimeChaser. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
Hey guys. Daniel had always had pretty poor health. And this summer, it finally took its toll on him.
He suffered kidney failure, and things continued to spiral on him.
His choices were either to spend 24/7 in hospice or a skill nursing facility, on constant dialysis. Or to go home and sleep in peace with his family.
He and his wife, Asya, decided to go home and make it as easy for him as possible. He passed away on the 16th, August 2017 at 2:41 am Easter time (US).
Dan and I weren't really the closest of friends, but I always seemed to keep tabs on him through Facebook once activity here on TheO faded. Like most who knew him, he was a kind, gentle person. We shared a passion for Progressive Rock, namely Rush. Gundam, Dr Who, all the things that brought people to this page to begin with.
All that said, I did still consider him a friend, and Chaser, you'll be missed buddy. Rest in Peace, my friend
Aww when did this happen? I didn't know TimeChaser very well but I thought they were a great person. I always admired them, so sorry to hear about this. You will be missed TimeChaser, for we knew you well. Rest in peace friend.
A quote by Monty Oum "I believe that the human spirit is indomitable. If you endeavor to achieve, it will happen given enough resolve. It may not be immediate, and often your greater dreams is something you will not achieve within your own lifetime. The effort you put forth to anything transcends yourself, for there is no futility even in death." ~Monty Oum

I knew he had an ongoing health issues for years and although it's been years since he's been regularly on it's a real shock still.
He seemed really nice and approachable and was an excellent source of Doctor Who knowledge.
Thoughts are with his friends and family.
Courage isnt a matter of not being afraid, Its being afraid and doing what you have to do anyway!
It feels so weird because we actually interacted a bit. I initially subscribed to him because of the Watercooler, and eventually, he subbed me back. This is so unreal.
R.I.P.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
