On the ALA's site are more comprehensive lists of all the challenged books from 1990 to today. R.L. Stine books are on the lists, and Goosebumps wasn't even that scary. ._.
If it really is the Where's Waldo puzzlebooks, what I'd like to know is what could anyone possibly find offensive in those?
I'm sure some people would like to ban the book I'm reading right now, The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, simply for the fact that he's an atheist and dares to write about the idea that there is no God.

I never got to read catcher in the rye. that is going to be my goal by 40. ...it takes me awhile to read things. like tuck everlasting took me 2 months, and have you seen that book?! huge ass print and very few pages x_x
All 3 of those titles were recommended/required reading in my school district. *shoulder shrug* People are strange, especially when it comes to what they decide to discriminate against.

It might be a novel called "Where's Waldo" and not the puzzlebook series of the same name.

I've seen the list before, and it made me laugh.
Seriously, Harry Potter was challenged. That made me laugh quite hard. ;]
Definitely going to check out a banned book ASAP. Thanks for the reminder, TC.

I am reading this right now. Some of the reasons given for banning the books are pretty funny.
