As Pinky and The Brain try to take over their world through yet another crazy plan, they cross paths with, you guessed it, The Beatles (or, in this case, The Feebles).
By the way, The Beatles actually did visit the Maharishi back in 1967 to have some Transcendental Meditation. So yeah, this episode did have its share of references that the kiddie audience wouldn't have understood. As for the song, it's "All You Need Is Love".

What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

Here we are again in the distant past of season one. But buck up, it's Independence Day! James Olson is an astronaut who salvages satellites for a living who gets hired by an unlikeable billionaire to retrieve a big ol' meteor made of sapphire. Moral conflicts don't get in the way of money, and confusing what could have been a nice and predictable plot is the standard beautiful young woman who wants to find her brother the moon miner. And in case you couldn't figure it out, this takes place in the FUTURE! On the MOON!
Host Segment Highlights
Food transporters are only second best to people transporters, and that's exactly what the boys have for us. They then perform a rather amateurish pageant celebrating the space program and then roll into games of THE FUTURE! Crow and Servo get into an argument over which woman is the best before it wraps up into the standard season one "good thing bad thing".
