What is Movie Sign?
Every Sunday night, we nestle down in Chat and watch an episode of the cult TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K for short) while spamming up the Chat box. Don't worry - we use episodes available on streaming sites so that we can all watch simultaneously.
What's MST3K?
A comedy show that ran from 1988-1999, it's like watching a movie with running commentary. Joel Robinson or Mike Nelson, along with 'bots Tom Servo and Crow, are forced to watch terrible films as part of a mad scientist's bid for world domination. To keep their (and our) sanity, they talk back to the movies and riff on them. A more detailed explanation can be found up at the SoL.

Our title hero roams the land in search of...well, nothing, but is wrangled by Persis Khambatta into saving her farther from the rip of some post-apocalyptic-meanies. Our warrior is assisted by his supersonic speedcycle that talks in 80s slang and, is frankly, outacted by the thing too. The rescue of Dad is successful, but his daughter gets left behind, meaning a mission back to save her...
Host Segment Highlights
Servo does what we've always wanted, introducing the show in a grand way - but Crow is there to be a buttmunch and ruin it. Tom is further demised with the hot-slot cars rigged up for him and Crow by Joel, but at least he can introduce a sketch in which the crew visualize what it would be like if the warrior didn't have his license. Then they go over all the cool things one can do in the apocalypse before phoning in on the ultimate awesome, Megaweapon.

What is Doctor Who?
A long-running British scifi TV series about a mysterious man called the Doctor, the last of the Time Lords, who travels through time and space in his TARDIS, a ship disguised as an old fashioned Police Box. The Doctor and his various companions explore the universe and battle evil wherever they encounter it.
This Week
The future of two races, of the entire planet, hangs in the balance. Can the Doctor broker a peace between humans and Silurians? Or will the Silurian warriors declare genocidal war on humanity? Even if disaster is averted, there will still be a high price to pay...
