As I'm sure you all know by now, the new FullMetal Alchemist series, FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood premiered in Japan today. And that four days from now (Thursday, April 9th), Funimation will begin streaming them on their website.
So, I thought it would be nice to have a chat based on FMA: Brotherhood, similar to the TTGL one that is held every Monday night.
And for those unfamiliar with FullMetal Alchemist:
FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood retells the story of the original FMA series, staying closer to the original manga storyline this time around. Despite this, it still follows the same basic plot: Edward and Alphonse Elric try to revive their dead mother through alchemy, and pay dearly for it- Edward loses his right arm and left leg, and Alphonse loses his entire body. Edward manages to attach Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor, and then has his limbs replaced with automail limbs. They then set out on a journey for the fabled Philosopher's Stone to return their bodies back to their original state...but they aren't the only ones searching for it....
There will be no need to download the anime, as Funimation will be streaming it with English subtitles on their site.
