Dangos look soooo good. Mmmmm I wanna sing the Dango song now. Green tea is said to be good for a person I hear Dandelion tea is as well. Wow, That comic, really caught me by suprise. Have a great day Wht.
We've made riceballs and sushi rolls a lot here before >o> but ours are always very sweet xpx I never really cared too much about nori because of that distinctive fishy taste that I have a hard time getting over when it comes to any sea food (though I'm trying to get over it)
Next time you give onigiri a chance, try putting in some cucumber, cream cheese and a little bit of avocado (though avocado can be left out really) but it'll have a nice freah, clean almost sweet flavor to it xox it's very good.
I was once told by someone that lived in Japan for years that pickles where about as close to a Umeboshi (pickled plum) as one can get, which are traditionally found in onigiri/riceballs.
Sounds yummy. Now you're putting me in the mood to make onigiri. I did once at a friend's house and it was delicious. I think I put pickles and sasage in mine with soy sause and nori wrap around it. But I fail at cooking XP
Good luck in your quest for curry, dangos, and other delicious treats! .w.
