to keep u safe from darkness
I'll keep u close
to keep u within arms reach

To keep u within my heart

I have my own qualms of life and wish for them to end
to say it is alright is only to pretend
is there no one with a kind heart to lend?
a touching moment to spend?
is there anyone they can send?
for a kind heart from thee I commend
for warming memories to attend
for all I really need is a friend
