"Could of" is one of the most annoying errors I see around. I mean, really? That looks like proper language? I'm not an English Nazi, but come on lol.
Because of my work on the school newspaper, a common error that annoys me is "over" versus "more than." Drives me up the wall. ("Over" = proximity to something, as in, "SomeGuy punched the baby so hard that it flew over the house." Whereas "more than" is in reference to an amount of something, as in, "More than 1,000 people watched SomeGuy punch the hell out of that baby.")
