I know it doesn't mean it, but that word always makes me think of repenting when I first see it. XD Then I look closer and go oh... that's not it. lol

Ooh, I love this word. Possibly the best use of it I've seen was in the Series of Unfortunate Events series - the second-to-last book was called The Penultimate Peril.
