Hello, and welcome to Yamcha's Anime universe! Some of you may know me from visiting my Myotaku page (username: Yamchaa), but if you havent visited or dont know me, then thats cool too lol. Im a big anime fan and ive been one for as long as i can remember. I collect anime movies, magazines, figures, all things related to anime, and im proud to say that i have a pretty hefty and diverse anime collecion which is usually constantly growing, and with this new world i hope to make new friends and spread my knowledge of anime to whoever may need it ^_^
Im glad to be back posting today , and im glad to say that ive got a couple of videos to show you all :)
As i posted yesterday, i recently bought a digital camera, and it is able to record video as well as take pictures - so last night i took the camera to work with me in hopes that i would be able to record some cool videogame stuff to show you guys :)
Last night at work, while me and a couple of my co-workers were on lunch - we took turns playing against each other on UFC Undisputed 2009 for xbox360. In all - I was able to record 4 short videos of fight highlights , and so far ive uploaded 2 of the videos, so without further wait - here are 2 of the videos :)
These arent videos of the whole fight, they are just highlights that are shown at the end of the fight :)

Light Heavyweight fight
This was a pretty even fight until I took Kenny down and damaged his head pretty bad lol. By the time he was able to make it back up to his feet again - the damage was done and at the end of the fight i was able to get control of his back and deliver alot of punches until the referee just stopped the fight lol. My fighter is the guy with the red shorts on :)
Jason VS. Roger Huerta (computer controlled opponent)
This is the same video i posted yesterday. This fight was terribly one sided lol, i was able to do whatever i wanted to this guy and the fight ended with one of the best knockouts that ive ever seen lol. I delivered that knee at the perfect moment LOL! It has to be seen to be believed lol. Im the guy wearing all white.
Im currently uploading video 3 right now, so when it is done ill be posting it up for you guys to see :) Ive got alot more violent K.O.'s to show you guys thats for sure LOL
This one wont be long, but i thought id still post about a few things :)
I finally got promoted on here again. Im a Senior Otaku++ now, which is pretty cool. Im sure it will be even more difficult to get to Otaku Legend though lol. It's been a while since the promotions have been updated, so it was cool to see them when they finally were released. It was also cool to see the comment Xaos left on the Member Upgrade section lol, hopefully one day we can reach Legendary status here on theotaku together, that would be cool :)
Im also glad to say that bulma made it ack safe from Dragon-Con. From all the pictures ive seen , it looks like she had a really good time lol. It was good to chat with her off and on as well, especially for a good amount of time a couple days ago :) I know she's tired from all the traveling though, so when she is rested up i certainly look forward to chatting with mer a bit more :)
Yesterday i broke down and bought a digital camera. It cost 40$ and i was really skeptical of buying it to begin with because some things dont work with my computer lol. when i got home i found out the hard way that the install disc wouldnt even load, so i looked for another option. The camera had a slot for an SD card, and my Computer happens to be a COMPAQ model that was released with slots in the front for SD cards, and slots for digital cameras and video cameras, so this morning before i left work i bought an SD card for the camera and hoped it would also work with the SD slot on my computer.
Well when i got home i took some test pictures and then put the SD card into the slot on my computer (miraculously it fit lol) and after a little searching i found the drive for the SD card and checked out the pictures and the test video i recorded :)
So now that it all works great, ill be taking my camera everywhere (especially to work) to get pics and short videos of random stuff, especially while im on lunch at work playing videogames lol. Now i can document in video some of the knockouts on UFC Undisputed 2009 in video form lol. Be ready to be amazed lol. I already have one video ill probably try to upload today :) ill be sure to post it here when i do , so be on the lookout for it :)
Other than that, ive mostly been taking it easy today. im probably going to do some laundry in a little bit, and then head to bed since i work tonight :) I look forward to getting some cool videos for you guys tonight though lol.

Ive been meaning to post a lot sooner than today, but the days pass pretty quick i suppose lol, so it has been a while since i last posted on this world.
Lately i havent been doing much, besides sleeping alot and playing videogames. Ive caught up on some anime and ive also bought some new movies to help pass the time.
Ive been pulling out some of my older videogame systems more frequently the past couple of weeks and playing some of my older games lol. The First old game i played recently was called WCW Vs. The World. It was one of, if not the first wrestling videogame realeased for the original Playstation Console. Many years ago i bought the game from a friend's cousin for 10$ and i felt that i had the greatest videogame ever lol. Me and my friend and his brother & cousin would play that game all day and night when i stayed over at his house on the weekends during the school year lol.
It is an obsolete game now, but back then it was the premiere wrestling game to have because it had so many wrestlers to choose from, plus great gameplay and awesome visuals (at the time). It's a relic of the past now, but i still play it from time to time to relive those nostalgic moments of bitter feuds and top of the line competition from back in the day :) Here is a video of the game i found on Youtube :)

I also managed to make time to play my copy of Gundam Battle Assault 2 for the original Playstation system as well. Back when the newest system was the original Playstation, I would play this game day in and day out lol. I would usually go back and forth from this game to WCW Vs. The World, and mix some other games in between lol. This game was the first anime related game that i was ever able to buy, and i still have it to this day. I mostly used the Gundam Maxter (G-Gundam), Nu Gundam (Char's Counterattack), and whichever Tallgeese version that was on that game lol. I tried playing it a few days ago and i couldnt remember any of the controls lol, ill have to play it again and look up the moves online sometime, thats for sure lol. Moving on to the anime ive watched, Ive mostly been watching the anime movie/series that i recently bought called Heroic Legend of Arslan Im so glad that i found it at a Pawn shop a couple of weeks ago because ive really grown to enjoy it. It is alot like the older Final Fantasy storylines, with Record of Lodoss War all rolled into one. So far it is an awesome anime series and it continues to get better. Ill be sure to keep you all updated on it, but for now - here is a video of the first episode i found on youtube. The dvd set i have is becoming one of my favorite anime sets that i own :)

I havent watched The Gene Generation yet, but the cover on the dvd case looked interesting, so hopefully it isnt a waste lol. Im just glad today is Friday, because after tonight ill be off work for the weekend, which is always good lol. Plus ill probably do some major cleaning and organizing to my room, so hopefully i can get all of that done too.
Last night while i was on lunch at work, I used my Xbox360 to watch the first episode of Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.

No matter how many times i watch this dvd, i just lose myself in it. Watching it on a 46 inch Flat screen tv at work was truly an experience, and it showed me that no matter how old i get, or how much anime i own - Some things never get old or fade out. Watching that dvd renewed my quest to eventually buy the entire series that has always eluded my anime collection. Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 is perfect - there isnt anymore i can say lol.
On a sad note, it really sucked to hear that ADV has gone out of business. Most of the anime i own was distributed by them - especially some rare stuff. Im thinking of getting some of my ADV related products and posting them up here on this world as a tribute to their contribution to the world of anime. Ill see if i can pay homage to some other anime companies that have fallen along the way as well, so be sure to check back :)
Well, i suppose that will be all for today's post, it looks like ive rambled quite a bit, thats for sure lol. Its good to post again and let you guys know what ive been up to - hopefully you all havent forgotten about me lol.

Its been such a long time since ive posted on this world, i believe it was a few days before my birthday earlier this month when i last posted lol. It's been a while coming and im glad to be able to post again, thats for s...
It's been a good while since ive posted, and since tommorrow is the Madden NFL 2010 Videogame Tournament, i figured id put up a post to let you all know that i signed up to participate (for the 4th year in a row lol).
the past 3 tournaments havent ended well for me and ive started to notice that i might have Yamcha's luck when it comes to tournaments lol. here is a history of the last 3 tornaments ive played in
Madden 2007 Tournament - Lost in the first round (in overtime)
Madden 2008 Tournament - Lost in the first round (lost to the guy that would win the tournament lol)
Madden 2009 Tournament - Won both games i played in the 1st & 2nd rounds , but lost in the 3rd round to the same guy i lost to the year before (who would win the tournament again). I still qaulified for the 4th round which decided who would win 3rd place. i lost that game too and ended up with 4th place lol.
This year im winging it just like i did last year, so whoever i play first will decide whether i make it to the 2nd round or not. I mostly would like to beat the guy that has beaten me for the past 2 years in a row (and won both tournaments). We both play similar styles, so im hoping to either play him first, or meet him in the later rounds if we advance :) The tournament is taking place at the Wal Mart where i work at around 8am, so ill be there waiting right when i get off work at 7am lol. Wish me luck lol.
I also wanted to let you all know that i bought 2 more games this past weekend.

Ive been playing this game alot this week and it has been really enjoyable. Ive enjoyed the customizebale features the most and there is still alot of things i havent done yet, so hopefully ill have plenty of time to play it today and this weekend while im off work :)
