It's a Gundam

Hello ,

It's been a while since I last posted, but I'm still here:) I've been up to the usual - watching anime and playing games.

Lately I've been playing the Japanese ps4 game called Gundam Battle Operation 2

Here's a video of one of my best battles
https://youtu.be/hnE2fiuIPY4

I've been playing alot of other games too, including Final fantasy 14.

I hope to post more later this week, I just wanted to post a little update before I went to sleep.

I hope to post more this week,

Yamchaa

The Showstopper, The Gundam, The Anime, and The End of Punk

Hello everyone

Im glad to be back posting, thats for sure, and i thought i'd start off by posting about some of the new stuff ive bought since i last posted :)

Anime

.Hack//G.U. Trilogy (anime movie)
Inuyasha The movie 4: Fire on the Mystic Island
Scrapped Princess: volume 1

Games

Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3
I aso pre-ordered Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition

Another thing i bought was a new webcam and microhpone, along with a video camera (Flip video recorder)

On July 7th, i participated in Bungie vs. The world which was a once in a lifetime playlist on Halo Reach. In the playlist, people from all over the world would be put against a team of Bungie Employees (people who created the Halo Games) and if your team beat them by 20 or more kills, then you would win a steak.

Here is a video of one of the matches i took part in, its actually one of my most dominant performances ever :)

The video follows my spartan exclusively, so youll get to see everything i did through the whole match :)

As for dynasty Warriors Gundam 3, ive really been enjoying it. Ive almost got everything unlocked, and im hoping that there is some 0083music to unlock thats for sure lol.

As some of you may know, the WWe Money in the Bank ppv is tonight, and CM Punk will be wrestling his last match (for now). Im still not sure what all is going to happen, who will win, or if something crazy will happen. Right now im starting to think that there is going to be another Montreal Screwjob lol. I do hope CM Punk wins though, so the story can still continue, i guess we will find out tonight lol.

Well, i guess im going to go play more of this DWG3, i sur hope to chat with you all soon :)

stay strong,

Yamcha

Lone Wolf Running Wild

Hello everyone,

I was sitting here watching some anime and i got some ideas and took some pics, so i thought i'd post up the pics and i also thought id let you all know what ive been up to this past week/weekend.

This past week has been pretty crazy and hectic for me, I wont go into detail about all the personal stuff that's been goin on, because im the type of person that keeps stuff like that really personal, so i hope no one is offended or anything like that.

Because of the personal stuff, Ive been a bit out of sorts for the past week. This weekend i spent 90% of my time watching movies, watching anime, playing videogames and sleeping. When i got home from work saturday morning, i pulled the blankets off of my bed and laid them out on the floor in my room in front of my TV and watched my dvd of the movie Blade Runner:The Final Cut. When i finished that movie, i watched my other dvd of Blade Runner: The Directors Cut. The Final cut has been totally remastered visually and the sound is awesome too. It also is slightly different than the Directors cut, and has added parts, and some parts taken out. There is like 5 different versions of Blade Runner, and i hope to eventually find the versions i dont have lol.

After i watched Blade Runner, i ended up falling asleep and i woke up sometime Saturday night around 11pm. At that time i beat Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 again, and unlocked some more characters, and i also played Halo for an extended amount of time. After i got tired of playing Halo, I watched my dvd of the anime called DevilMan, and i must say that i really enjoyed it this time around. it's pretty violent and has alot of language, but it was just fun to watch because it pulled no punches at all lol. After i finished watching DevilMan, i re-watched the last dvd of Gatekeepers 21, because i had fallen asleep during the last 3 episodes, and i wanted to get a better understanding of it. To be honest, the last 3 episodes really made the show for me, and i really enjoyed it. Watching Gatekeepers 21, urged me to re-watch my dvd of the original Gatekeepers, which i enjoyed even more because it wasnt as dreary and dark as Gatekeepers 21. Just for the record, Gatekeepers is a prequel to Gatekeepers 21, just in case anyone is wondering lol.

By then it was around 7:30am Sunday morning and i decided to lay back down and watch the Mobile Fighter G-Gundam dvds i own. Here is a pic of the G-Gundam dvds i own, along with the 2 tapes of recorded episodes i have :)

My Mobile Fighter G-Gundam video Collection.

The 2 VHS cases contain the 2 tapes worth of episodes from G-Gundam that were recorded from Cartoon Network. The G-Gundam logos on the VHS cases were made by me using the backs of the cardboard cases from som action figures i had bought years ago :)

I blame Shinmaru for getting me back into G-Gundam because i heard him chatting about it in Theotaku Chats a few days ago lol. To be honest, ive had these dvds for years and ive never watched them. I have all of the G-Gundam episodes recorded from Cartoon Network and that is how i had watched them, but that was quite a few years ago lol. Watching them on dvd lately has given the series new life to me and i have really been enjoying it, especially the opening and ending themes, as well as the music from the series in general.

Im actually watching volume 7 of G-Gundam right now lol, just 5 more dvds to go.

Around 7:50am Sunday morning the power went out for some strange reason, so i just went to sleep for a couple of hours lol. When i woke up, i played Halo for a while longer and then proceeded to watch the movie HardBoiled, which is one of the greatest action movies ever. It's a pretty long movie too lol. Once i finished the movie, i pulled out all of my fighting games and played them so i could get a good feel of how i would write my article for Thegeekfighters.com

Final Round of Arcade Mode on Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO (Im Ken lol)

I had a fun time with it and i certainly hope to put up another article on the site sometime soon :)

When i finished posting, i pretty much laid down and started watching more episodes of G-Gundam until i fell asleep. Today ive mostly just been watching G-Gundam as well, and doing laundry and stuff for work tonight, and ill probably just watch G-Gundam until i go to sleep later today lol.

Well that pretty much covers my weekend, i covered alot of dvds thats for sure lol. I'm just trying to stay busy with anime and stuff so my mind doesnt think too much about stuff, stress can be a pain thats for sure.

Well i hope you guys enjoy the post and i sure hope to chat with you all soon :)

Yamcha : REDUX

Hello everyone,

Ive been meaning to post a lot sooner than today, but the days pass pretty quick i suppose lol, so it has been a while since i last posted on this world.

Lately i havent been doing much, besides sleeping alot and playing videogames. Ive caught up on some anime and ive also bought some new movies to help pass the time.

Ive been pulling out some of my older videogame systems more frequently the past couple of weeks and playing some of my older games lol. The First old game i played recently was called WCW Vs. The World. It was one of, if not the first wrestling videogame realeased for the original Playstation Console. Many years ago i bought the game from a friend's cousin for 10$ and i felt that i had the greatest videogame ever lol. Me and my friend and his brother & cousin would play that game all day and night when i stayed over at his house on the weekends during the school year lol.

It is an obsolete game now, but back then it was the premiere wrestling game to have because it had so many wrestlers to choose from, plus great gameplay and awesome visuals (at the time). It's a relic of the past now, but i still play it from time to time to relive those nostalgic moments of bitter feuds and top of the line competition from back in the day :) Here is a video of the game i found on Youtube :)

WCW VS. The World for Playstation - I just loved the background music for this game! :)

I also managed to make time to play my copy of Gundam Battle Assault 2 for the original Playstation system as well. Back when the newest system was the original Playstation, I would play this game day in and day out lol. I would usually go back and forth from this game to WCW Vs. The World, and mix some other games in between lol. This game was the first anime related game that i was ever able to buy, and i still have it to this day. I mostly used the Gundam Maxter (G-Gundam), Nu Gundam (Char's Counterattack), and whichever Tallgeese version that was on that game lol. I tried playing it a few days ago and i couldnt remember any of the controls lol, ill have to play it again and look up the moves online sometime, thats for sure lol. Here is a video of the game that i found on youtube :)

Gundam Battle Assault 2

Ill certainly have to post more videogame stuff up really soon thats for sure :)

Moving on to the anime ive watched, Ive mostly been watching the anime movie/series that i recently bought called Heroic Legend of Arslan Im so glad that i found it at a Pawn shop a couple of weeks ago because ive really grown to enjoy it. It is alot like the older Final Fantasy storylines, with Record of Lodoss War all rolled into one. So far it is an awesome anime series and it continues to get better. Ill be sure to keep you all updated on it, but for now - here is a video of the first episode i found on youtube. The dvd set i have is becoming one of my favorite anime sets that i own :)

Heroic Legend of Arslan

The other movies that ive bought over the past couple of weeks are

Hamburger Hill
Apocalypse Now : REDUX
The Blues Brothers
The Gene Generation

I havent watched The Gene Generation yet, but the cover on the dvd case looked interesting, so hopefully it isnt a waste lol. Im just glad today is Friday, because after tonight ill be off work for the weekend, which is always good lol. Plus ill probably do some major cleaning and organizing to my room, so hopefully i can get all of that done too.

Last night while i was on lunch at work, I used my Xbox360 to watch the first episode of Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.

Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 episode 1

No matter how many times i watch this dvd, i just lose myself in it. Watching it on a 46 inch Flat screen tv at work was truly an experience, and it showed me that no matter how old i get, or how much anime i own - Some things never get old or fade out. Watching that dvd renewed my quest to eventually buy the entire series that has always eluded my anime collection. Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 is perfect - there isnt anymore i can say lol.

On a sad note, it really sucked to hear that ADV has gone out of business. Most of the anime i own was distributed by them - especially some rare stuff. Im thinking of getting some of my ADV related products and posting them up here on this world as a tribute to their contribution to the world of anime. Ill see if i can pay homage to some other anime companies that have fallen along the way as well, so be sure to check back :)

Well, i suppose that will be all for today's post, it looks like ive rambled quite a bit, thats for sure lol. Its good to post again and let you guys know what ive been up to - hopefully you all havent forgotten about me lol.

thanks for visiting and i sure hope to chat with you all soon :)

stay strong,

Yamcha
