That...looks like lots of work! But from what I'm seeing so far, it looks like it'll be worth all of it.
The good thing about making your own suit is that it'll be completely original, a one of a kind. I'm sure the finished product will look pretty impressive, judging from what you've already finished.
Yea, the chest piece looks better and better as i keep adding the pieces, and the emblem is the icing on the cake. When i was looking on ebay i saw the emblem for a pretty cheap price so i knew i had to get it lol. The emblem was actually the first part of the suit i bought, and it is really good quality. The person that made it did a really good job.
I'd be finished putting it all together by now, but UPS kept screwing up when they were delivering my wetsuit that i ordered, and i ended up getting it a week late, so it set me back a few days lol. I'm planning on having all of the pieces glues onto the wetsuit by monday, then i will spend tuesday working on minor things and attaching the cape.
I'll be wearing it to work on wednesday (Halloween) so it will be funny wearing it while im driving up there, and hopefully the people up there will like it. There will be plenty of pics and maybe even some video as well.
The best thing about the suit is that it came with its own head piece, which is movie quality, and it is alot better than the other one i ordered a while back. i'll be sure to post a pic of the new headpiece later tonight or tommorrow :)
Holy sh*t, this is mind-blowingly amazing! Your dedication to detail is definitely showing and I'm certain that by the end, it will mirror the Caped Crusader straight from the film. That chestpiece does wonders for the overall look. I can't wait to see the bat-emblem placed on it.
I'm looking forward to seeing everything pieced together! I am seriously impressed.
