Oh, I'm quite familiar with the content of Gantz. You're right though. It is always a pleasure to see a series without anything being held back. Sometimes, it's a shame to find out some elements of a story were omitted simply because it's been released and licensed in Western culture. I can't think of an example off the top of my hed, but I think you get what I mean.
It's just that there are time when I'm watching an anime, and I switch back and forth from English dub, to original Japanese dub with subtitles, and then play with closed captioning. With certain series, I see/hear almost 3 completely different translations. I'm not an advocate in promoting the use of explicit language and cursing , but sometimes it's just a part of a story that shouldn't be tinkered with. Even the slightest change of a few words can spell the difference between a dull one-liner and a raw, inspiring quote.
Izumi Shion is one character I like in particular. There's something about him that reminds me of Vega, from the Street Fighter series. I've gotta get a hold of that series for myself to relive it's moments.
Anyway, it's good to see you're doin' well. Hope to chat soon. Until then, take it easy, bro.
