It was great to get your comment :) I was starting to worry that everyone had forgotten me lol. Im glad i finally got this thing up and running right though, this time im going to make sure i backuop alot of the screenshots i get off dvds, onto some discs, that way i wont have to search anime dvds for certain screenshots again lol. Having all of my stuff get deleted kinda helped though, When i realized that all of my screenshots and original copies of my wallpapers got deleted, It made me want to create again, i suppose in order to make up for deleting all of my other ones lol. I just finished creating a wallpaper as a symbol of a new beginning of sorts :) When i first started making wallpapers a few months ago, I created a wallpaper called "Operation Stardust" (its in my wallpaper section in my porfolio). As i look at the wallpaper now, it looks kinda bootleg, but im still porud of it because it was where i started lol. Well just now, i finished a wallpaper called Operation Stardust: Redux. I took my original plans that i had when i created the original Operation Stardust wallpaper and used my current skills to create a new vision of the same wallpaper. In my eyes it kinda symbolizes the same wallpaper being reborn, very much like my computer was reborn over the weekend lol. Its ironic that youd send me a comment today, since id used something from the past to create something for today, It seems very fitting thats for sure :)
Ah man... As if we all need ANOTHER example of how we've all got a love/hate relationship with technology. I'm glad to see you're up and running back to normal now. But still, I know the annoyance of having your computer mess with you.
I remember just when I was starting school, my only laptop's motherboard fried on me and I had to wait 4 weeks to get it replaced (for free though, so it wasn't that bad). I was forced to use my mother's PC and I wasn't used to it at all, I spent more time cursing at it than doing work.
It's such a shame you lost copies of wallpapers and whatnot. But rest assured, the remaining copies dwell in an area of the internet where they are truly appreciated.
I look forward to seeing whatever you churn out soon.
Take it easy, bro.
