Hello, and welcome to Yamcha's Anime universe! Some of you may know me from visiting my Myotaku page (username: Yamchaa), but if you havent visited or dont know me, then thats cool too lol. Im a big anime fan and ive been one for as long as i can remember. I collect anime movies, magazines, figures, all things related to anime, and im proud to say that i have a pretty hefty and diverse anime collecion which is usually constantly growing, and with this new world i hope to make new friends and spread my knowledge of anime to whoever may need it ^_^
It's been a while since i last posted (it usually always is) and i've actually been meaning to post quite a bit, but i just get lazy i guess lol. But tonight i'm here, and i'll be posting about what ive been up to, along with some other stuff.
First off, i'd like to thank everyone for the birthday comments they left over the last week. I was pretty shocked by how many people left comments and gifts because im certainly not use to it lol.
As of late, i've mostly been up to the usual - Work, anime, videogames. Recently i joined a streaming site where i now stream random games when i play them. I have a few videos up as of right now and i certainly plan on adding more videos as i play more games. Here is the link to my page where you can check out my videos -
When it comes to anime, I've been acquiring it at a pretty steady pace now. I've been ordering alot of VHS Anime from Amazon.com for really cheap prices, and ive also been able to find anime dvds at a local game/dvd store as well. Here is a pic of some of the newest stuff ive ordered/bought -

I'll be watching a few more tonight before the night is over, but i do want to say how much i enjoyed watching Wicked City. I've actually ordered this anime film 3 separate times and something always came up - either they sent the wrong movie , or there were price changes that voided the transaction before it was shipped. I finally got it in the mail a few days ago and it was worth the wait. It has become of my favorite anime films an insured me that the old style of anime is still the only way to go :) Here are some songs from the movie that i really liked -

Hello everyone :) it's good to actually post 2 days ina row lol. I havent been up to much today, this morning i made some wallpapers, then went to the store. I played Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: Never Ending Tommorrow for PS2 this monring as well. It's a pretty cool game so far, a little different from the other Gundam games i have, but its alright :) right now Im finishing watching The White Dragon, a movie i bought yesterday. So far ive enjoyed it, Its about a blind swordsman for hire who is hired to assassinate a prince and a very skilled female martial artists (called "White Dragon" because of her white clothes) who is somewhat in a friendly relationship with the prince who is sent to defeat the blind swordsman, because they believe that she is the only one that is capable of doing so. When the female warrior and the Blind swordsman finally meet and do battle, the woman is defeated and injures her leg (i believe it is her leg) and the swordsman nurses her back to good health and over time they begin to like each other. Thats as far as ive gotten though, im sure ill be able to let you all know more about it in tommorrow's post ^^
Today i also pulled out an anime dvd that ive been wanting to watch again -
Gungrave: volume 1 - Beyond the Grave
this anime is based off of a couple of ps2 games that came out a few years ago called Gungrave and Gungrave : Overdose. The games are great, and this dvd is pretty cool too. It kinda reminds me of Trigun and Hellsing in a way, but i wouldnt say its a rip off because i believe the games came out before either one of those series, im not sure though, so dont quote me on it lol. Im planning on making some Gungrave wallpapers though, so be on the lookout for them :)
i didnt know what else to post about so i thought id post a pic of some of my Dragonball Figures lol. You can see Yamcha up near the top in the yellow suit, that ones my favoite, so is the Tien :)
My guitar
I bought this Guitar a while back, its pretty cool, i may play around with it later on tonight, im alot better on Guitar Hero and Rockband though LOL. Im working on it though :)
Well im going to get back to this movie, so i can finish it and watch Gungrave and maybe something else :) I hope to chat with you all soon :)
