*lawls* I'm amused by your post. It's a juxtapose of thoughts! (I don't know if I spelled that right...)
I recently got some car problems resolved. Hurt my wallet some. I hate those kinds of expenses. Now that I have a job, my parents are more on me for helping with stuff. Makes sense, I guess.... I just want to get something for me! *selfissssshhhh*
I semi-love spides. I used to be scared of them, but they're not so bad anymore. They do still freak me out but I can tolerate them more. A spider that big? COOL!
I'd like to see you dressed as a British Policeman. Post pics, please. B3
Wow... well, one does what they can to survive. ^^; I'd help the Shop owners, if I could.
*sigh* All these bad things happening... it depresses me. I should know better. There is always turmoil somewhere. But, when it escalates like this, I feel so helpless. Oh well. I accept it. Humanity is helpless.
So, keep my spirits up with pics of you in a Policeman's Uniform~! (>_<)b
The police have yet to fire live rounds at rioters, though I have a feeling the army will not be as merciful if it continues. On the bright side though if it gets that bad the local police will be recruiting and I would love to get paid to beat chavs.
Also funny side notes, Amazon.co.uk's ten most popular items are now batons and bats. Also Turkish business owners seem to be forming mobs to protect their stores and communities from rioters.
I knew it was over the shooting of a man, but I didn't realize it went in that deep! At first, I thought, "Well I suppose the citizens have a reason to react in that manner. But, creating more chaos will not bring order." And, then I thought, "Why would the policemen fire into crowds of people anyway?"
I suppose the English law is quite different from American, ne? I really should do more research into this. Thanks for clearing some of that up, though.
And, your opinion is quite justified. I would agree. Taking advantage of a situation to do things that are wrong and immoral is just another way of continuing the nonsensical cycle. If they get shot, hurt, arrested, or killed, they only brought it upon themselves.
As they say: War is but a justification for one man to kill another. Call it what you will. War does not determine who is right; only who is left.
The rioters are not protesting anything. They are not championing a greater cause or fighting a tyrannical government. They are using the shooting of a man involved with drug dealers and holding an illegal firearm in a neighborhood with "racial tensions" as an excuse to go looting and smash things up. I'm all for them calling in the army and firing into the crowds, which they will probably do if it continues for more than five days. The people doing this are hoodlums and criminals, wannabe-anarchists and arsonists. Nothing of value will be lost if they meet a hole-riddled end. Not only is that my honest opinion but it also seems to be the general consensus on it. The criminal justice system in the UK is broken, criminals hardly get punished and citizens are punished severely for defending themselves against criminals. The law abiding lass and gent are victimized by a system who's judges have long lost contact with the common man. The only good thing that can come from these riots are a culling of the criminal community and a return of castle laws.
It kinda makes me wonder what the hell is up with the policemen right now... why would they do that? What kind of man follows an order like that...? I guess I should pay more attention to the news. ^^;
I'm from the north of England, so Manchester and Hull and Leeds and York and such. London isn't really on my radar, though Hull and Manchester are burning tonight. Funny thing about the Hull riot; the police blocked 'em in the mall and dished out some police brutality. Kind of makes me wish I was there to take photos of the chav beatings.

Maybe when I get a job next month?
