Don't feel bad. I know your a great artist. That's why I said that to you, silly. You need tough criticism or you won't know what your doing wrong. I actually encourage the same of my own work. You shouldn't feel lucky either. You earned your place there in the top. Show some more pride, buddy. xP

I wish I could see all the images of the entries in this post. All the names of the OCs baffle me @_@ I couldn't remember which pics they were, haha. Or maybe I'm just being lazy =P

wow i cannot believe i got second place or at least tied. seriously thankful you all thought so much on my drawing. the one thing that makes me sad is that i really tried on the feet, really i did T_T i erased them and redrew them seriously like 20 times. i thought they ended up pretty well............... i feel kind of bad about being so high up or even mentioned in the top 5 let alone top 3, my scanner really messed up the drawing.... in my sketchbook it looks nicer with clean lines and without so much smudging. the scan makes it look mediocre. i wish i had the time to fix it up. lol i guess i could have if i had finished it earlier. but I'll fix it up soon and color it too. hopefully then u can see how much better it could have potentially looked. don't get me wrong I'm glad about the place that i got i just wish i could have submitted something more worthy of judging.

But hold on a sec... I think there's a mistake with this part of your review: I became involved with "how" to acquire this summon, instead of what I was looking for which was, "how" this summon came into contact with characters from Final Fantasy X.

It's true that my OC is inspired by a summon from FFX, but I believe I also stated that he can belong in any FF game, with the exception of FFX and FFXII (probably the exact opposite of what you thought, lol).

I'm not doing this out of dissatisfaction or anything. I'm very happy with the results =) But I just want to clear this misunderstanding.

This contest isn't over you know... I'm contemplating on how I can integrate my second idea into this one--making it a two part contest. I'll have to see.. As for you, Ms. Self-Basher, I think you did freaking great~! When I first looked at your compared to everyone else, I wanted you to win. I liked your character sooo much. But the others wouldn't let me! D': Though I will tell you this, that won't stop me now that the contest is over.

I still need more characters for my comic. One isn't enough. ^^d

Bah. First loser. I knew my horrid anatomy would catch up to me and kick me in the tuchus... Ah well. That's the last entry I'm doing ever. Heh. x3

Nonetheless, the contest was fun. If I ever improve, I'll be in another some day. Not now though.
