This past weekend saw me with the greatest output of self-insert OCs ever in my life.

THE REASON IS because of a meme I did on Tumblr, where people (my friends) sent me series, and I was to drew myself like I belonged in them. I ended up using the opportunity of a familiar subject matter (myself) to try a new drawing method. It's a fairly basic concept art thing, and also a beginning art school thing - toned surface, which you add whites and blacks to.

A rundown:

1.) Thorverse. First crack at it. Ended up being more of a warm-up to the other things. Asgard, land of sleeveless shirts and capes...I don't belong.
2.) Korraverse. I usually don’t identify with the Earth element, but so far, my favorite characters from A/LoK have been Earthbenders, and those peeps seem more me.
3.) Digimonverse. My nostalgia flooded all over the place. Since my OC was me (I was eight), I used her and her 'mon in trainer form.
4.) Golden Sunverse. GSona time again, basically.
5.) Fireflyverse. I'm apparently super badass and moody there.
6.) Thorverse, take two. In both cases, I'm tsundere for Thor.

Like I said, super self-indulgent.
