I've been doing these to combat the boredom that comes between not being able to work due to impending surgery and then actual surgery. Ever since re-vamping Senka to be a desert pirate, I've had the mental sticky note telling me to do the same for the rest of the characters. I'm getting on that now.

This is a pretty old story idea of mine (I was 14 hooray), so bear with me.

Honestly, the biggest change is outfits, since all of the characters on this page live in the desert-y parts of the story's world. Zephyros and Lyra sooo aren't dressed practically for the environment, but maybe it's to show they're badasses; I dunno. People can have multiple outfits (as Senka does). About the only concrete "theory" I have is for the tattoos: they only appear on people from the desert region and not really from the other lands, and are used to show family or group connections. The red bands are the mark of someone who was arrested for a crime (though obviously if they're released they're not that bad....right?).

The sad part is that the designs for Lyra, Masa, and Zeph have been a lot of fun to do, so I now have to figure out a way to tell their story alongside Senka and company's. Ah well, more fun for me~
